From everything I know about Ringo, he is a sweet person still working hard trying to spread the words peace and love that he and his brothers started all those years ago. Ringo has always been the one who took life least seriously among a group of men who all taught us to take life less seriously. He was at most poking fun but certainly not trying to be hurtful. Watch the film “A Hard Days Night” and you can see how silly and fun he is. We are lucky to still have this dude rocking it into his 80s. Peace and Love!

This interview lends some insight as to why I've seen later interviews with Ringo where he acts snotty in a way that seems truly disrespectful at odd times with Conan, but now I'm inclined to think it really was dry humor just as Conan is bringing here, because Ringo has usually been the most-fun Beatle to watch in interviews.

They make these new acts, because ofThe Beatles! No one could believe back then that they were just who they were. We discovered Paul was the social one, because he WAS social, that John was the witty one because he WAS witty. John even once said that though he was seen as sometimes rather snide at a times, that Paul could be very snide himself! It was just that the FIRST thing you would see in public was him being social. Ringo was the lovable Beatle, and George was ‘the quiet one’, only because that was the first thing you noticed of them. And ‘the music biz’ has been trying to recreate The Beatles, for over half a century! and... have FAILED!!! Long live the Fab Four!
