I've only just come across this video. I have the same problem. Dark circles and dry under eye. I've started using my milani eye primer under my eye as an extra level of moisturiser. Then I use the Catrice in the corners. Then foundation then concealer. So far so good. I love your technique of placing the concealer further down and building it up to the area. Used to use BB extra light bisque but found my face looking too pink, I also am not comfortable going as light as you do with correctors. I tried the BB extra light peach and it was PERFECT! Almost didn’t need concealer. I never mixed up the cream like you do, but got great results with xtra light peach and warm ivory cream concealer, also by BB, because the cream version of this concealer shade is very peach. Unfortunately, both products have been discontinued and the corrector shade is totally gone. I did discover that peach toned foundation looked better on me than pink or yellow (never knew why I could never find a match! ) TY for that! Unfortunately, finding a moisturizing peach toned foundation and correctors and concealers is difficult because I am a little fairer than you, and I must use FF products under my eyes. Usually on my face too, although I have tolerated the BB and Armani foundations with some fragrance when my rosacea is not active. My best foundation match ever, was MAC Moisturizing Mineral Foundation in NW18, but that formulation has been reformulated three times in my memory, it is now their serum foundation but has a drier texture than the previous iteration and the color range is large but completely different and I never know if peach is going to be considered cool or warm in a line. In MAC NW is cool. I just ordered the Armani shade in 4.25, I hope it’s not too dark, the 5 is too cool as is the 4.75, but 4 is way too yellow. The NARS shade in Vienna was too orange and the Yukon was way too light and pink. So I am completely at a loss for corrector and concealer, and almost out of foundation options. What would you recommend for someone a little fairer than you with dark circles requiring a peachy corrector, concealer and foundation? Thank you for opening my eyes to peach toned base products. I always knew it was best in my concealer, but never imagined that BB would discontinue the cream concealer in warm ivory, it has been in the line since its inception and certainly since I switched to mostly BB base products. The skin under my eyes is so dry..I did a lot to get rid of this issue. But every concealer, corrector makes the problem more noticeable.

Does your eye cream have shea butter in it? I find that this specific ingredient really helps with my under eye area.

Thank you, so glad it helped! I do have a video on how I apply the Becca corrector (very similar to the Beautypie) and I recommend to use as little as possible to start and only build as needed. What results are you getting that are making you feel like it’s not applying right? Creasing? Or just not getting dark circle coverage?

I just watched your contour vlog. Great! The trouble is, I am 58 and don't like wearing make-up because I don't really know how. I also don't like creams. It feels cakey. Any suggestions for a light/medium foundation, taking into account my age and slight T-zone oily skin?

This is a great question!! Are the red areas more along the waterline, like “tired eyes” kind of redness?

@@girlgetglamorous Well, the purple is along the inner eye area and on down to the tear trough. The redness is along the perimeter of that purple area and on the eyelid. My waterline is not red at all. I suppose I can be thankful for that!

I'd apply one extra dot of eye cream directly on the crow's feet and gently pat it in after applying your eye cream normally. Then you should be able to apply cream color corrector over it without it looking "heavy." Let me know if this helps!

This is my exact scenario also. I’ve got some deep pockets on the outside of my eyes, where my crows feet are, combined with chubby cheeks, makes for dark coins on the outsides of my eyes in photos that I’m so self-conscious of.

For fair or light skin, definitely, for those light makeup days! For medium/tan/deep skintones it mught be a bit too pale on it's own. I hope this helps!

Thank you I have it I’ll try. I usually just use sigma duo corrector in shade light med mostly the light side and set with CT flawless in fair. But I have to say the sigma is not very emollient under my eyes

How can you tell if you're using the right shade of color corrector? I have the beauty pie light medium and I'm thinking maybe I need the medium.

Generally, go with the shade range that matches your concealer or foundation. For example, if your foundation falls in the “medium” category, pick a corrector also labeled as medium. Once you apply your corrector, the dark circle area should be the same shade or one shade lighter than the rest of your skin.

I generally stop my foundation right at the edge of my concealer and then go over that area with a sponge to make sure it’s all blended between the two products. I did love the Becca! When they went out of business, before Smashbox bought the formula, I started trying new formulas and found that I actually prefer the Charlotte Tilbury and BeautyPie formulas for under eye correctors.

Do you have any tips for when no makeup will stick to certain parts of my under eye no matter what primer and it’s really noticeable because my under eyes are so dark no concealer has ever covered them ?

Hi! It makes me wonder if possibly your eye cream and concealer have different base ingredients. For example if your concealer is oil based and your eye cream is water-based this could be part of the issue. The other thing I’m wondering is if maybe your under eye area is dehydrated and so the skin is absorbing whatever moisture it can from the concealer and this is causing the patchiness.
