So I had to adjust my title, because I think a lot of people were confused. I got under eye filler like 2 ish years ago, and recently got what was left of it dissolved. So I currently have NO under eye filler. Which is why I've had to adjust my routine. Sorry for the confusion!
@ЛизаДженест4 жыл бұрын
Was it hyaluronic acid filler? If so, isn’t it supposed to dissolve by itself?
@oliviadavidson92354 жыл бұрын
Was there any specific reason why you got it removed? Would you ever get it again? No worries if you don't want to answer but if you feel comfortable talking about it would love a video on what you liked, didn't like about it! I've been considering it for a long time but heard it can fall down into the cheek pad and give you that filled look so thats why I've been apprehensive. Would love to hear your experience though. Love your videos :)

@original noon the breaking down of red blood cells leaves areas of your skin to turn black or blue and your body needs iron to make a protein in the red blood cells to pass oxygen. Since the skin around the eyes are so thin you can see "more."

The thing that makes it less noticable is sorta thick rimmed glasses. And I do have like that fold too, but since I got into jrock as a young teen I learnt of east asian fashion trends and the lower fold is seen as cute so I learnt of mine in a positive way rather than learning abt them being a flaw.

Alexandra, I really appreciate the comment you made about not bringing your concealer/color corrector in the area under your eye that just naturally creases because of the nature of the skin under there. I, too, have done the primer-underneath-the-eye-area strategy and the eye cream strategy, and even these just didn't work; creasing still occurs even with very little product. I was always under the impression that I had to bring my concealer all the way up underneath my bottom lash line, so now that I see your strategy in action and its efficacy, I feel that it's okay to not have to put concealer in that crease prone area. There's nothing wrong with not putting concealer in that area, and I wish other KZbinrs in the makeup community would emphasize that more. Thank you for doing this

Hi Alexandra, I'm an aesthetic RN who performs injectables. One tip for you....we can do botox off label to the bulging area along your eyelid. It is called the pre-tarsal muscle aka "the jelly roll." Botox can help to atrophy this area and smooth out the fullness which is ultimately casting a second shadow on your under eye (completely unrelated to the hollowing of your tear troughs). Just wanted to suggest this for you as you were obviously not completely satisfied with the under eye filler and may be looking for other options to smooth out the under eye region. Also, look into pigment brightening skincare for the under eye such as products that contain Kojic acid and hydroquinone. XO

I always wanted to get fillers after your original video. Now I started to use the ordinary product that helps a lot for the dark circles

It’s comforting knowing I’m not alone having this kind of problem with my under eye.

I’ve learned so much from your videos and I love that you’re so matter of fact about your dark circles or little curve in your nose. You exude this calm confidence that draws people in and makes us more comfortable with our own dark circles or whatever else we’d like to make look a little better. Love everything about your videos from the f-bombs to the cat cuddles. 💕

You are such a pro. People ask me "WHAT HAPPENED???" when they see my uncovered undereye circles. They think I was in a car accident or beat up.... Wish I could learn directly from you!

Such an in-depth explanation of the under eye routine is so helpful! Thanks a lot!!!

We honestly think the same way about makeup and have come to the same conclusions over the years. I do all of these tricks with my undereye concealing too and discovered them just from playing with color theory and my own face. I usually watch your videos not to learn something, but I watch them to hear someone else go as deep as I do with their makeup art theory. The in-depth reasoning you give for each application trick your doing... I'm usually just waiting for you to explain the exact way I view it, and ya always do, lol. I'm also an intense no bullshit Scorpio artist tho. We just really like to delve so deep into the artistic things we're passionate about, and truly enjoy understanding how to manipulate and use our passions to create magic and illusion. ✨ Love you binch. 🌊💖

I think your under eyes look beautiful. Also, whatever face makeup you’re wearing looks amazing. That being said, that concealer system, and especially the powder, really blurs your skin in a way that I can’t even describe

Im always so excited for her content, she's funny, to the point AND ACTUALLY HELPFUL!! If you're ever inclined to do an olive foundation/concealer help video for light medium skin it would be much appreciated! I feel like Lighter medium skin gets one shade and then light and medium, and dark get like 40 :(

If you find that when you go to powder any concealed areas, may it be under eyes or pimples on the skin, that it takes off some of the coverage, the best thing you can do is to let sit for a while after blending, go on with the rest of your routine, and then powder as a last step.

Setting the under eye does not actually "take away" coverage. Powder removes the reflection that a cream or liquid product always has after applying and thus mattifying takes away brightness. So basically due to it being wet or oily, even if only the slightest bit, the light reflection is reduced by powder. I have the same problems as you, am also a pale olive skintone with extremely dark under eye circles. Try some setting powders with reflecting particles (like a super slight invisible highlighter), my favorite is the essence satin matte (don't know if they still make it, I bought a huge backup amount) and it's a GAME CHANGER!!! There is many that are crappy, too glittery, not fine enough etc, try your way through them and it will bring your under eyes onto a new level, I promise! I have deep set eyes as well, with hollow under eyes, and I even tap it under my under eye bags to bring light there where the bag shadow is (not on the bag, it enhances the shadow otherwise) and it's literally mind-blowing. Hope you read this! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I meant I put it on the lower contour of the hollow of the eye, that ridge. Works wonders!!!

Has she ever explained what specifically she didn’t like about the under eye filler? This is a procedure I’ve been considering for awhile and I’d love to hear more about her or anyone else’s experience :)

Dude, thank you! My undereyes are mental... sunken and dark and I was eyeing filler, but now I think it's more bother than it is worth with your help!

Thanks for being so honest and coming out on camera with your bare face 💞 I have very dark circles, all the way around my eyes. I'm the same, got to cover that shit up!! What I've been doing lately is going in with the elf hydrating camo concealer in the shade light beige, to correct ( because it's so yellow and I need yellow because my under eyes are purple lol. Just like I was punched in the eye hahaha) then go over it with shape tape in light sand. Like you said very light layers. Then I set it with the new covergirl clean fresh powder in shade light, using a damp sponge. I could never set my under eyes because I have so many natural creases, that it makes me look old lol Well the best combo I've used yet!! Skin type is oily acne prone, with very dry under eyes. Love your tips😍
