Very helpful lecture sir.... Thank you. First question: solution part We have, (1+lambda) ^2 - 16 = 0 Or, (1+lambda) = (+ & -) 4 Therefore, 1+lambda = 4 Lambda = 3 Or 1+lambda = -4 Lambda = -5

Sir , 1:18 I have tried to solve this question by making it a triangle matrix but through that i am getting eigen values as -1 , 15 . As per the concept why i am not getting digonal elements as eigen values when i am converting it to triangle matrix . equivalent traingle matrix i am getting is [ -1 4 ; 0 15 ].

I'm From Instrumentation Engineering deptt., Today i appeared for the GATE exam 2018 ......i applied one of your binary methods in probability which saved my time and also solved almost all question from maths section. But I do have one complain that in one of your videos...u were teaching about cauchy-riemann but You didn't say anything about that this is used to check analytic function and i left that question which came today. Sir for very first question as you told that sum of diagonal i.e -1-1= -2, so we selected option A. But if i add next diagonal i.e 4+4=8, i will option D, becoz 3+5=8. How to select exact diagonal according to properties of eigen values?
