The word “nuisance” has been derived from the Old French word “nuire” and Latin word which “nocere” means “to cause harm, or to hurt, or to annoy”. It is also synonymous with the word “annoyance”. (کسی کو پریشان کرنا )
Nuisance as a tort means an unlawful interference with a person's use or enjoyment of land, or some right over, or in connection with it.
Nuisances are generally in the form of things like noises, odors, smoke or other kinds of pollution, where a suit for trespass to land cannot be brought.
