I am very curious which music he is going to perform together with the RCO. Does he have a wishlist?

He has stated that first and foremost, he wants to respect the core repertoire of the orchestra (Mahler, Bruckner, Strauss, Brahms). Second, he thinks that the orchestra has recently neglected the French repertoire, so he will also put an emphasis on that in the coming years. Finally, he wants to play more music from the second Viennese School.
