Congratulations, Shota Otaguro on the wonderful performance! Could you please change the name of the concerto to 'Concerto for Marimba, 1st Movement'? Edition Svitzer and I have agreed to remove the word 'Russian' from the title. As a composer, I want to distance myself from any association with an aggressive and fascistic state. Thank you!

Thanks! I was mostly self-taught in high school but being in marching band had a big impact for me when I started learning marimba. I studied under Galen Lemmon during my time in college.
