That sandwich worked fantastic. I got my shiny riolu within 30 seconds, so I decided to hunt a little long, meditite is left of where you turn right. I hunted a little, found nothing so I decided to hunt something a little more beefy, headed to the Area zero, down to facility 3 and into the hidden cave. And while technically 10 seconds after my sandwich wore off, I'm still giving you partial credit for my shiny Iron Valiant.

north province (area one) watch tower is a good place to hunt riolu/lucario using steel sandwich as well as shiny tinkatuff.

The 60+ ONLY works during an outbreak. It is not triggered doing the method outlined in the video.

That's why you save before the picnic and then if you don't get a shiny, you close the game and load it from the hard save so you keep the herba mystica. I said this in the video lol

that 60 kills or whatever is a myth. I have hunted over 40 shinies and never once killed 60 pokemon before and was successful each time.

It’s in the game’s code. You don’t have to do it to be successful, but it is an actual thing.

You can try without the sandwich but your odds of finding one will be way harder and may take several hours of searching
