0:16 IMO, stocking up on nulberries is mostly useful for the Bow and Dualblades, since stamina is so important for them. In general, cleansers are more broadly useful since they'll cure the bubble blight, which impairs your ability to move and attack. Mizu gained a new mechanic in this game, every time he enrages he'll do a mostly harmless spin that generates a ton of bubbles, and Mizu's fins will become almost blood red (3:52). In this state he gains a boost in speed and aggresiveness, and he gains sliding variations of the water beam, but interestingly he seems to take more raw and elemental damage, and if you deal enough damage he has a special topple where he slides away (4:27). This special topple seems to override and cancel regular topples, but if he's in a trap or KOed the special topple won't occur, it seems to hold at one hp, this means that if you KO him while he's in bubble mode, you can keep wailing on him and the instant he recovers the very next hit will trigger the topple. (7:50 it's a little hectic, but you can see him attacking Mizu during the KO without triggering the topple, and the very next attack at 8:10 topples mizu) Hopefully this text dump is helpful.

That was genuinely realy good gameplay and a good guide on how to approach mizu as well as monsters in general. Its realy impressive how much better you got at the game

Thanks bro, that means a lot to me! I've been trying so many things and with tips and advise from so many people I'm starting to fill in a lot of the blanks and with constant playing my reactions to the fights and my weapon are getting a lot better too! This was a good fight for me

Damn good job! Talking like a pro already xD One point tho you said that you need antidote for mizu but I guess you ment the cleanser right? Antidote is only against poison. You should try to use the special song more often but otherwise I guess you're better than me now with the new HH haha That one time where you dash trough the roar and mizu falls down was because you reached a threshold for knockdown (not KO, that is indicated by the yellow flashes around the head when it falls down) . I don't know much about this but I know you can flinch and knockdown monsters when doing a certain amount of dmg to certain parts. I think that there are monster parts that have lower thresholds for flinching and knockdown and I guess it's mostly the legs for flinch and head for knockdown.

I didn't actually explain that part too much hahaha, it's in case there is a turf war between Rathian and Mizu and you get poisoned by Rathian during that encounter. That explains a lot then, I was hitting him so much that he was flinching the whole time lol

Feels really good to learn the monsters movesets and behaviour and dominate it? :D Wait till the game comes out and you will have many monsters to learn it will be amazing time
