Concorde: 27 years at Mach 2

Concorde, the worlds only supersonic passenger aircraft, flying at over twice the speed of sound (1350 mph). This is a video by British airways when she was retired in 2003.

What a machine, an absolute tragedy it was pulled from the air, it shouldn't have happened until there was a replacement supersonic airliner. Cars have got better and faster, technology and medicine are improving by the day, but in the 70s,80s and 90s we had a passenger plane that could get from London to New York in less than have the time it takes now, when they retired Concorde that was a massive step back In aviation progress.

The reasons were also economically and power effieciency. It was no eco friendly whatsoever 😂
