Concorde used to do training flights out of Shannon Airport. I grew up on the other side of the river Shannon estuary, west of the airport and sometimes of a Saturday when we were young we'd see a low flying Concorde on one of those training flights.

Tim Jones, yes, a great deal of cleverness went on at the RAE! I never cease to be amazed by some of the work they did and their innovations!
