I picked up the T sax after 20 years since high school jazz band. Been practicing this very song for 2 years. Does anyone know what Richards set up is? Sax, mouthpiece? Not that I think the sax brand will make me play like that, but I am using a yamaha student and a cheap mouth piece from amazon. Looking to upgrade my sound.

Same bed but it feels just a little bit bigger now Our song on the radio but it don't sound the same When our friends talk about you, all it does is just tear me down 'Cause my heart breaks a little when I hear your name It all just sounds like ooh, ooh ooh hoo hoo Mm, too young, too dumb to realize That I should have bought you flowers And held your hand Should have gave you all my hours When I had the chance Take you to every party 'cause all you wanted to do was dance Now my baby's dancing But she's dancing with another man My pride, my ego, my needs, and my selfish ways Caused a good strong woman like you to walk out my life Now I never, never get to clean up the mess I made, oh And it haunts me every time I close my eyes It all just sounds like ooh, ooh ooh ooh ooh Mm, too young, too dumb to realize That I should have bought you flowers And held your hand Should have gave you all my hours When I had the chance Take you to every party 'cause all you wanted to do was dance Now my baby's dancing But she's dancing with another man Although it hurts I'll be the first to say that I was wrong Oh, I know I'm probably much too late To try and apologize for my mistakes But I just want you to know I hope he buys you flowers I hope he holds your hand Give you all his hours When he has the chance Take you to every party 'Cause I remember how much you loved to dance Do all the things I should have done When I was your man Do all the things I should have done When I was your man Traducir al español

Not meant to be a dumb question but when Richard Elliot is playing this song, how hard is he blowing into his sax ? Thanks.
@44karlangas8 жыл бұрын
is not about blowing hard into the sax, you just need to keep a good pressure on your abs, and good breathing it also depends on each note he is playing, higher or longer notes require a little more pressure.
@MsJackieGaines5 жыл бұрын
@@44karlangasand for those of us whom watched Richard, along with attended his concerts throughout the years surely know he can "REALLY" hold a note!!! 😊👌👍👏😉 🎶🎼🎵🎷💯

@MsJackieGaines5 жыл бұрын
@Steven Waine it got all the dislikes because some of "us" have a good ear for "GREAT" music and then there are those who don't know and understand what "GREAT" music is...hmmm! I've seen Richard many times, have sat and had conversations with him. He is very talented, seasoned, disciplined and he ALWAYS make sure his fans get more than what they came for. You don't find too many artist that will deliver like he does. I've followed him every since he was part of one of the best bands of all times Tower of Power, and in my opinion they had one of the greatest horn sections around! A lot of smooth jazz artists got their start there. Richard can take any genre of music and make it sound like you've NEVER heard it before, so there you have it...ijs!!!!!! 😊😉🎶🎼🎷🎵👌👍👏
