Thanks. Great video. Are you producing an upcoming video for the stucco?
@BruBuilds2 ай бұрын
Yes, I finished the stucco, in the process of editing it together.

Looks good, next time add more water to your cement you don’t have too follow the rules on the bag.
@BruBuildsАй бұрын
Hmmmm, maybe a little, but if you add too much it can cause small cracks.

The counter tops came out awesome. You did a fantastic job. Quick question: what type of plastic strips did you add to the sides (opposite the edge forms)? Also, did you leave those on there, or did you removed them when you removed the forms?
@BruBuildsАй бұрын
Thanks, I just ordered a 1/8” sheet of black plastic from Amazon. I think it was 4’ x 1’. No way to remove them after pouring the concrete, now they are covered by the stucco. Since they were black couldn’t really see them anyway.

@@BruBuilds Thanks so much. One last question for you... From the cement board height, how much did the actual height go up after adding the counter top?
@BruBuildsАй бұрын
@@joeaguirre3069 The side profile of the upper one is about 2" and the lower one about 3". The actual thickness is about 1/2" less, because it does overhang on the sides.

How did you cut the cement bag in half without it spilling all over?
@BruBuilds3 ай бұрын
With a utility knife. I thought I had a shot of me doing that but couldn’t find it.
