Thanks for the video, in what circumstances do you lower the pusher axle down?
@MrPeteypants23 жыл бұрын
Anytime you have above 6 (or maybe 8) yards on, it’s to keep the truck’s axles under a legal weight
@DJSHADDY2K73 жыл бұрын
Readymix meo your in a different cement mix truck ah?

as a concrete pouring employee... why is it that the rear booster axle needs to be down even if the truck is empty?
@readymixmoe60883 жыл бұрын
Cause they swing out when you turn. You can hit something and not know.
@CSX26653 жыл бұрын
@@readymixmoe6088 oh man that answer went over my head...i never thought about that untill you said so lol i was super curious because the rear discharge mixers keep the booster up when empty and the front end mixers do not, glad to know i can finally have that out of my head

Explain the slump and water to mix ratio
@Rockmixerstar5 жыл бұрын
1 gallon per yard to increase slump 1 inch. So if you have 10 yards at a 4 inch slump you would add 10 gallons to get to a 5 inch slump and so on.

Make sure it doesn't have super or mid range because then it will not reload much water
