Boy u hit a nerve, I drove and operated a mixer for 20 yrs and it's not always the driver most of the time it's at the plant , lack of cooperation between dispatcher, batchman and labor in the yard.

lite weight concrete, what would the difference in weight be from regular concrete, 5 gallon bucket?
@MuddyfeetConcretePumping16 күн бұрын
I’m actually surprised you are asking that question? How have you been? Seems like it’s been a long time since I’ve heard from you. It very depends on which concrete company you talk to but they tell me approximately 800lbs of difference between light weight rock and what they would call their normal rock.

@@MuddyfeetConcretePumpingI use 2” in Kentucky. I’ve had my share of battles with ready mix plants but luckily we have good consistent mixes now. 🤞

Yeah Ive poured a fair bit of lightweight for parking garages and that was not lightweight rock. Looked like they screened the pebbles out of play sand, not even sure what that rock would be called.

Here in Canada we chair up the wire mesh every 4 inches. Pool deck is going to explode within 4-6 weeks because the wire mesh got trampled back down to grade.
