So the contractor was out of the country and had no idea what was going on that someone was trying to reach them. So the entire office is out of the country and they don't have phones that forward to wherever they are. My phone works anywhere in the world. I am well 173 countries

I have driven used cars most of my life. I got a new car ONCE. It was "new"....I bought at '08 in '08 and it only had a few thousand miles. Never again. Old cars that look good is where its at and my current car is great, its looks new inside at 14 years old. I just got a door handle repaired and the guy who "fixed" it damaged my door panel on the inside. i told the mechanic that while it might not make a difference in the value of the car with its year/mileage/outward condition, it just wasnt like that before, and I want to be the one who has a say on whether any damage to it is ok or not. Its not anyone elses decision. "Its not that bad" or "no big deal, you might say" is a stupid thing to say. I will be the one to say what is a big deal when it comes to my property. If you damaged it and it wasnt like that before, that call is on me unless you are paying for my stuff. Period. I dont care if the rest of the car is an absolute wreck. Whether ANY damage is acceptable is ENTIRELY up to the owner and no one else. Everyone else can worry about their own crap. That lady should get it repainted if its not fixed another way. No way around it. I mean full paint. The whole hood and roof, fading the fenders and doors to match so it doesnt look like its half new and half old. It should be made right. And the construction company should have insurance for this very reason. The nerve of people acting like damaging other peoples things is "no big deal". Like I tell my son "this is why we cant have nice things".

It’s funny because I think Kenny is really the one who’s not the brightest bulb. You can park by construction work and have absolutely zero problems, but then all sudden they switch and start spraying concrete everywhere. @@AKAT1980 How do you know there was even any concrete on her hood and roof? All we saw were scratches... Scratches that looked like something was dragged across her roof. Nobody is gonna be dumb enough to try and scrape dried concrete off a car like that and not expect damage, so I don't really think that's what those scratches were from. And yes. If she doesn't want to risk damage to her car, it's her responsibility to do what's safest. I wouldn't even park there with the nets. They also said she was notified. She said she wasn't. It's he-said/ she-said. Regardless, it's common sense to not park under a construction zone. I'm glad she got her car fixed, but hopefully she stops parking there.... But I doubt it.
