@@Leroy-df3ee I believe that the reason it's such a big deal on the mens tour is because LIV is a direct threat to the PGA. They don't like competition as they have been the big boys on the block for a long time.

Congratulations to South Korea's Amy Yang for claiming the biggest victory of her career. 🎉🎉🎉 At 34. her win proves that an LPGA career can last well beyond 30, an imaginary number many LPGA players set as an ideal age to retire.

Anna Nordqvist, Ashleigh Buhai, and Amy Yang are the only LPGA tour players beyond age 33 that have shown any consistent ability to contend atop leaderboards in the last few yrs. And just cuz the occasional 40+ yr old is teeing it up out there, doesn't mean that they're actually contending, never mind winning!

Last season finished with Lydia, Jin Young, Nelly, Minjee, Atthaya, and Brooke as the tour's top tier. How many people back in January foresaw Lilia Vu gaining 2023 player of the year honors, and Amy Yang, yes Amy Yang going on to win the tour championship finale! And oh yeah, by the way, Team Thailand winning the 2023 International Crown! Can't wait to see what's in store for 2024⛳🏌️‍♀️

Yes, it's happened a few times this year... at the US Open, Evian, Toto, CME, where she put herself in contention after 3 rounds, yet wasn't quite able to close out in the 4th rd. But she was superb here at CME, 24 under would've been enough to win any other year. And overall it was another solid year for Nasa🚀.

The payouts seem really low given the popularity of the LPGA. $2M is ok, but 2nd is less than a 1/4? Should be over half, just compare to the PGA's RSM Classic the same week. And it takes the LPGA's season-ender championship tournament to compare to an average PGA tournament.
