What is the treatment for this condition? I have the same thing. Just had my second upper molar extracted due to a cracked root. The CBCT showed sclerosing osteitis. I still have mild burning in the socket. Is this normal? What would this will it fade away in time? My surgeon said the gums look healthy no infection. The one thing he didn’t do was take an x-ray after the extraction. Should I be concerned? I hope you can answer my questions?
