Conditional Access: Block access by location

With the location condition in Conditional Access, you can control access to your cloud apps based on the network location of a user. The location condition is commonly used to block access from countries/regions where your organization knows traffic shouldn't come from.

If I allow access with MFA ? So how will it behave ? 1. If user logs in from outside India location, it will prompt to register for MFA ? 2. If user logs in from India, it will allow without MFA ? Pls brief ur answer.

Here's the thing - you so easily demonstrated how you could VPN and test signing in from the blocked country, it's just as easy to VPN to appear to be from the allowed country. Why even bother setting a "specific country only" Conditional Access by Location policy if bad actors can just use VPN to sign in "from United States"? Conditional Access by Location seems so incredibly useless. Am I missing something? I know it's only one piece of the security puzzle, but right now it seems like an utterly useless piece.

Will the login work when the user logs from India again? Or is the account locked because the user was logging in from Netherlands before?
