Omg this is so funny! It's always so hilarious when tourists of all nationalities come in Italy... proud to have such an expressive language, both vocal and not. And, the hand gesture of when the men touch their... erm, jewels, it's called "tocaferro", literally "touch the iron"(still don't know where it comes from...) and it's a sort of invocation for good luck. Those two are hilarious... and why is it so strange to clap at the landing? I think it's a good thing.

I know too much about why the British spell words like "center" or "color" the way they do, to ever want to adopt their dumbass spelling, at least for what concerns most words. I routinely use some of their words, especially "quite", but when it comes to spelling I'd always pick the American one.

I think there're 2 reason: -low level of the italian's school istruction, especially for the olds generations, i hope the young italians speak english better -the difference between italian language and the other language like english, so for italians it's hard learn english, even for english it's difficoult learn italian well Sorry for my english but..... i'm italian🤣

Io sono Italiano a me questi due comici mi hanno fatto ridere ;-) grazie p.s. se esistono persone che parlano bene la lingua Inglese, questi sono i piloti d´aereo (cosa essenziale per diventare pilota) inoltre voglio aggiungere che anche io dopo l´atterraggio applaudisco per il pilota il co-pilota e tutta la crew, perche sono soddisfatto e mi é piaciuto. e poi diciamolo pure.. al pilota e alla crew (segretamente) gli piace! (io l´ho so perché mio nipote é pilota) é come dire "bravi avete fatto un buon lavoro" by the way... a chi non piace ricevere un complimento!? cosa che dovremmo fare spesso! e non a pensare "io ho pagato" secondo me é sempre piú simpatico di non applaudire e scendere dal´aereo con una faccia da bronzo. you know!? saluti dalla Germania

Ciao, io sto studiando per diventare pilota. A me farebbe piacere una volta, che fa ridere, 2 volte ok ma poi mi arrabbio. Perché? Semplicemente perche, anche se fatto in buona fede, sembra una presa in giro, una cosa del tipo: "bravo, sei riuscito a farci arrivare sani e salvi". E come se tu applaudissi al macellaio che ti ha tagliato un etto di crudo. Infine ti assicuro che alla maggior parte dei piloti non sta bene ricevere applausi all'atterraggio, soprattutto se sono italiani. Saluti

Se devo essere sincera io ho viaggiato in aereo molto alla fine degli anni '80 con Singapore e altre airlines e siccome vivo in Svizzera gran parte dei passeggeri erano svizzeri: Applaudevano all' atterraggio, e come anche!! Magari non lo fanno più e siccome gli italiani ci mettono un pò di più ah ah, per i gesti, si siamo gli unici e ci rendono così unici. Io ne vado fiera! Tutto il resto sono solo gesticolazioni senza un vero senso, la nostra gesticolazione è un vero linguaggio. Parliamo molto ma se c'é bisogno di capirci senza parole....riusciamo a comunicare lo stesso! lBellissimo!
