The purest form of flying imho is paragliding.Have talked to several paragliderpilots who flew sailplanes earlier and they said compared to paragliding flying sailplanes was flying the least bit and maintenance and shoving the sailplane around on the ground was what they did mostly.

It's true, flying gliders is awefully time consuming which is why I eventually gave up on it.

Nice! Do you happen to know the max finesse on the ventus 3? I'm assuming it's insane. Seeing this, with the quarantine, would almost tempt me enough to upgrade to Condor 2. But it's still an expensive piece of software to buy all over again when you already own Condor.

Best glide ratio of the Ventus 15m is 49, for the 18m version 52.5. The price tag is indeed a bit hefty.

Wow, das schaut ja in Sachen Thermik-Simulation und Agilität des Flugzuegs (Schwingen der Tragflächen zB.) deutlicher besser als X-Plane 11.50 aus. Grafisch, tja... Offenbar kommt von den Condowr-Machern ja auch nichts mher. Der MFS 2020 soll ja esteinmal keine Segelflugzeuge enthalten. Wenn das mit der Glider-Saison dieses Jahr nichts wird, lege ich mir Condor-2 wohl auch noch zu. Wir rechnen nicht mit einer Startfreigabe vor Mitte/Ende Mai...

@@henryluebberstedt7819 Kannst dir dann gleich das Arc Alpin Terrain auch runterladen, das ist satte 50GB groß aber bildet praktisch den gesamten Alpenraum ab!
