CONDOR EXPRESS and CONDOR LIBERATION Leave Guernsey One After The Other

For just a few weeks the high speed ferries Condor Express and Condor Liberation were in use together, after the Condor Liberation had been bought to replace the Condor Vitesse and Condor Express. On this rare occasion, on the 21st March 2015, both the Express and Liberation were scheduled to leave Guernsey one after the other.
The Condor Express is seen painted in a plain white livery, this was because it had been sold to it's new company Seajets, a ferry company in Greece and was being used by Condor Ferries until the official hand over date around Easter 2015.

Interesting to see the trimaran leaning into the turn at 9.20, whereas catamarans don't do that. That's probably why Incat and Austal have built hundreds of big cats between them, while Austal has only built 4 trimaran ferries.

That was a bit before my time, but if you are on Facebook, join a group called Channel Island ferries past and present and photos often come up of that one there and there are many knowledgeable people on there, who have, or still do work in the commercial ferry industry. 🙂

Excellent, we traveled on the Condor Ferry a few years ago, great experience, 3 hour crossing to Guernsey from Poole.
