Thank you for all videos. As a law enforcement officer I get so sick of coming on here to see a good review of a product and getting a bunch of little kids playing airsoft. I appreciate having a real operator giving a real review.

@scandapoodle Oh yeah, they do make the HSGI Double Decker "TACO" Magazine Pouch (pistol mag piggybacking on the mag pouch) but it only comes in singles (which is less size efficient width-wise) and then the cost goes up to FOUR TIMES as much.

Thanks for this video. I bought their AK mag kangaroo. It works perfect. They have fixed the straps so it doesn't have any extra material.

@912patriotJW Hey many did you even watch the video? Quality and any downsides are cleary explained; you are being myopic.
@nutnfancy14 жыл бұрын
@Trigunnie45 Correct again gunnie: moving the snaps was considered and it's just way too much work and expense. Mod shown is the best option and it takes 10 min for a 3 pouch setup. Other downsides: hard to find black/tan snaps and straps having been cut will now have to be melted (more work, less finished). I've done lots of snap and sewing work in my days. Easiest fix shown.
@natewesselink11 жыл бұрын
Just bought one this month and it doesn't have much of any excess length in the straps. Have it on a condor battle belt and its rock solid.

The Army Surplus store in my town sells these as well as other Condor stuff and usually cheaper than CTD. I just picked up one of their shotgun scabbards and stuffed my Ruger 10/22 in it. I also bought the double kangaroo pouch for my chest rig. Good stuff for the price.
@johnreese448511 жыл бұрын
If you weave the molle strap though the molle webbing on the vest then though the molle webbing on the back of the pouch it will fix the extra material.
@berger042414 жыл бұрын
These also come in single and double mags. Nutn, heres a tip to deal with the elastic and not being able to put the mag back in easily: i have same pouch and I don't use the elastic, I have magpuls on my mags and I use a dump pouch for the empty mags. so I have the elastic to the side, and the mags don't go anywhere, they are very secure. However if you cut the elastic, and even without the magpuls it should still be able to be used quickly and put back quickly. I've tested it, it works.
@nutnfancy14 жыл бұрын
@mceedip Roger that, thanks for the suggestion. Downsides to " Esstac M4 Triple Wedge Mag Pouch:" it costs 40% more and completely lacks the integrated pistol mag pouches (so in reality it's about 200% more). I like its adjustable depth on the rifle mags but the extra elastic adds weight. If cost is not important then the number of options skyrockets...just like all things in life right?
@Trigunnie4514 жыл бұрын
@J0uzze I'm just replying to the comment about the molle straps. "you complained about the molle straps being too loose" I don't remember if it was in this video or another, but Nutn stated that with Condor gear, the spacing and tightness of the molle is somwhat random. Sometimes it's loose and widely spaced, sometimes it's tight and evenly spaced. Condor hasn't quite got the"even"memo yet. But other than that, it is pretty good gear for the money.(esp since you get lisenced Multicam) Cheers
@vancevillalobos334010 жыл бұрын
The excess of the strap on the back of the mag pouch and I think all of Condor's gear is made so that you can weave the strap in and out of the accessory. Condor's accessories are made with molle gear on them so that you can get an extremely tight/ medium/ or loose fit on your gear. I have several condor accessory pouches on my Condor MCR6 chest rig that I use at work. (I'm a LEO) I have no problems at all in the feild running around or shooting at quals.

I just put an order for one of these in today... I hope they have fixed the webbing issue, but if not I'll do a Nutn fix on it. I'll update when it arrives on how that works out in my example. Edit: I just got it in, wove it into my MOPC that Nutn reviewed, and it fits nice and tight!

@nutnfancy Well thank you Nutn, for making time to respond to my comment. I think it would be useful to all the "überman" men in here should learn "tactical" sewing. It's a skill that would come very handy in time for all sorts of fatal gear busts. Thats why our military services teach sewing. At least they did in my grandad's day, and my mum's too. Don't know if they still do though. Well anyhow, keep up the good work, and have fun. Cheers. =]

Just got the whole Condor set up from CTD & Serpa CQC holster from US "C". Looking foward to it & runing the Sig 1911 I refered to in your 1911 POU vid comments. Not cool, CTD Multi Cam markup. With the cup 1/2 full I'll have the time to get the rig dialed in after the CTD return is done (BTW the UTG Cross Draw Vest sucked) because I have 3 to 6 weeks till my permit is ammended in the People's Republis of NY. Thanks for all the knowledgeable & impartial advice Nutn its appreciated in Albany!

Hi, swapped out the UTG cross draw set up for a Condor very similar set up with my 1911. Although its a bit heavier the supportiveness in uncomparible. My question is this do you know if there is a kangaroo pouch set up avaible for a M1A like this so I just swap it the pouch out? I looked in CTD & Brownells with no luck. Many thanks for the great reviews & GREAT (high value & durability) product highlights & the not so good ones to. Look foward to a reply.

@Trigunnie45 I was thinking along the lines of actually replacing the snap. I would be cutting the excees strap off anyhow so the old snap would be gone. Putting snaps on takes only a few seconds. I payed $3 for a 10 pack & $3 for the punch...used the snaps on a few project...they are easy and handy.

@w55ks I love the condor shotgun scabbard. I have my 10/22 in it and it fits great. Good stitching, lots of webbing, and very well padded. The shoulder sling is a good extra as well as the retention strap. Overall a great product and if you were watching CTD had the black ones on sale for $9,99 this past weekend until noon on Monday.

Hey Nutn ? Will the Kangaroo pouch fit a molle holster behind it? Will it hold 1.5 oz mace cans in the pistol pouchs also could a guy fit a department issue radio in one of the AR mag pouches? Nice solution (sewing job) on the loose fitting mag pouches. Just an idea.... what about giving the strap a twist or two before attaching to vest? I've done this before with other things but not this system. Just an idea. Great vid. All your vids.
@gwh2137514 жыл бұрын
Seems like moving the snap might be a simpler fix than "tactical sewing." Although the sewing thing is super handy at times, I'm sure! And a better fix in the long run because by sewing you eliminate that 1.5" length of single layer strap. Great vid!

about your problem on the elastic straps getting in the way of mag insertion- im an airsofter and i run magpuls on my M4 mags so i was like "hmmm..... these elastics get in the way!" so i just took them off. i had no problems with the mags coming out, and i am constantly springting, crouching, and strait up hitting the ground

@scandapoodle Don't forget I'm a gear reviewer and "buying 10 different sets" is the result of that job...for you. However I do like the idea of HSGI Taco pouches and may test them later and their multi-functionality is real. But keep it real: The TACO pouches are also about TRIPLE the cost of these and they have no pistol mag pouches. These still rock.

They said they are looking into it as we speak and more then likely from what he said they will make sure that it's rectified in the next batches... Condor is also aware of your videos as well so maybe they'll jump on board! Also if you haven't looked into their rifle cases you should. I got one and MAN it's nice!! Thanks Trigunnie45, right again, & totally agreed. Some guys get their feelings hurt when I call them on their accusations (like calling into question my integrity for reviewing items from CS and Condor). If you throw down here be ready to get some back I say. Buying USA rocks if you can (quality in many tac nylon brands is outstanding) and will afford it. But the "that's-not-made-in-America-and- therefore-it-sucks" mentality doesn't sit well with me & TNPrs. That's b. it's a usually a lie.
@GodOfWar534114 жыл бұрын
Hey Nutn you should try the Emags there thiner then the pmags and can be doubled stacked. But I have so mag pouches and my pouches don't have the extra material and the cord is real tight.
@Trigunnie4514 жыл бұрын
@gwh21375 Well moving the snap would be impractical. Snaps are stamped into both sides of the fabric with a snap punch, kinda like rivits. Anyone who does a lot of sewing and makes their own clothes knows what I mean. Once the snaps are "snapped" into place, they cannot be "unsnapped" and moved. Ergo, sewing the exess is really the only option short of making your own molle straps. Cheers.
