So impulse is (1) generated at the SA node, (2) spread throughout the atrial surfaces within internodal pathways, (3) reaches the AV node where impulse faces a delay to allow completion of atrial contraction, (4) impulse goes through AV bundle then through bundle branches to reach the Purkinje fibers in order to begin ventricular contraction, then (5) impulse is distributed all throughout ventricular myocardium so ventricular contraction can fully complete. thanks for this video!

If the major of the students understand in long lectures, and one still has hard time understanding them maybe a book with pictures can help. But it would be harder if one does not practise focus and goes to college or universities. Where it's the student job to understand, read or ask questions.

A-Level Biology Explanation: ∙ A wave of electrical excitation spreads out from the sinoatrial node across both atria, causing them to contract. • A layer of non-conductive tissue (atrioventricular septum) prevents the wave crossing to the ventricles . • The wave or excitation enters a second group of cells called the atrioventricular node (AVN), which lies between the atria. • The atrioventricular node, after a short delay, conveys a wave of electrical excitation between the ventricles along a series of specialised muscle fibres called Purkyne tissue which collectively make up a structure called the bundle of His. • The bundle of His conducts the wave through the atrioventricular septum to the base of the ventricles, where the bundle branches a wave of electrical activity spreads out into smaller fibres of Purkyne tissue. from the sinoatrial node • The wave of excitation is released from the Purkyne tissue, causing the ventricles to contract quickly at the same time, from the bottom of the heart upwards.
