A friend and I did a Conductive Thermals + Volatile Bullets combo on an Elimination mission, it was absolutely nasty deleting Dreadnoughts.

You know I’mma probably do a modded run on a max haz, with Conductive Thermals, Marked for death, and Volatile Bullets with IFGs and see how fast I can clear the dreads

While I think overcharged PCF has advantages dealing with medium enemies, I like plasma splash because it can apply the debuff TWICE per shot, and as a bonus, some of the damage is dealt as heat, which scales.

@@burnttoasttttttt Sorry to be a leaf lover for this but I heard the fire mod for the PGL only inflicts heat damage, which is different from fire damage like from the flamethrower, so it sadly doesn't work with Conductive Thermals. Marked for Death, however-

I tried a similar build but with Jumbo Shells OC. Absolute bonkers, even on Haz5 with 4 players. May be even more bonkers if I change the ammo upgrade with pellets. Though my fastest dreadnough kill is still taken by Driller + Scout teammate. I froze a 100%-healthed lacerator while it was marked for death and started spamming axes... It just vanished.

I remember me and my friend both used cryo canon on a twin boss I used Ice Storm he used Ice Spear and the thing popped out of existence in around 23 seconds

i use jumbo shells with max damage (pallets) needless to say the dreadnaughts be dreading the dwarves .

@@FangDRSH I just tested Jumbo Shells and Double Barrel a bunch in Sandbox Testing with Conductive Thermals and IFGs. Weapon builds are 21122 Conductive Thermals and 11313 Jumbo or Double Barrel I was shooting at a Vanilla Dread with Haz5 4 player scaling. I found they both had roughly the same ammo efficiency, but Jumbo Shells was doing more DPS. Over multiple tests, it took around 30% total weapon + grenade ammo and ~45 seconds to kill it with Jumbo Shells, and around 40% weapon + grenade ammo and ~60 seconds to kill it with Double Barrel. Additionally, Double Barrel buffs the boomstick's blast wave damage, which I believe doesn't receive any buff from Conductive Thermals from my testing, so it's some wasted potential.

It’s used more to get the buff off so you can whip out your shotgun and destroy

@@FangDRSH I use Nishanka with fire bolc OC for the conductive thermal build . I aslso use plasma spalsh drak like this guy , so where do i get my electric efffect ? with the elecrocute bolts in T1 crossbolt, melts everythging in direct shots . cherry on tp , the cryo grenade makes some fun temp shock disintegrations !

Conductive Thermals adds buffs for elemental damage, making affected targets more vulnerable to them, making it quicker to burn or freeze them, and resulting in big damage. Hope that makes sense.
