I'd like to think that the darkness makes the corrupted (probably) weaker because outside of transforming their hands into weapons then them trying to transform into a car is most likely futile and another thing they have the darkness on their face so the most likely can't see well.

Goddamn it how'd it take THIS long for a pibby transformers song to pop up?! Joking aside, while i do vibe heavily with the song, i don't really feel like it lives up to my expectations with the corrupted decepticons. IMO i would've just made Starscream and Megatron more like Vicky from Wish Come True, not completely overtaken by the darkness, but instead suppressing and weaponizing it like how the decepticon leader weaponized Dark Energon in WFC. Starscream would still have his arm blades, but also a second set of Darkness-made eyes in reference to his Alternity design. Megatron would be the least changed, having no use of the darknessess ability to mutate forms, and instead just have it seeping out of his joints and facial orifices in small streams. Soundwave and Shockwave would also be present instead of just weird appendages and heads, the former having a second blaster on his shoulder and the latter having an extra set of arms.
