I have experienced 2 campuses of conestoga, doon and waterloo,in my opinion campuses does not matter as far as conestoga is concerned, like both the campuses are great in their own way, there are some facilities that are not available in one campus and available at other, but a Conestoga student can access every facility of conestoga campuses , except the gym facility for waterloo and downtown campuses. In short - focus on courses, like campuses are divided by fields, doon has business ,marketing ,health and all ,waterloo has IT courses ,hospitality .

I am currently studying Project management in Conestoga college and as per quality of education offered by Conestoga college, I must say program structure is good and most of the teachers are working in Project management domain. But, there is very less job opportunities near Doon campus due to more students are enrolling in Conestoga college. I am also switching to some other college to take my second course due to less job opportunities and some college like George brown college is offer better program structure than Conestoga college.

Hello, I have a question. On KZbin people are saying that we have to show funds in case our course is of 2 years but my counselor from IDP is saying that only ITR is required to show finances. There is no requirement to show funds in SDS category. There is no block for funds requirement while filing VISA. Please clear this confusion. Thank you.

to be on a safe side show funds 3 times applied in sds only i get 2 times rejections because i have not shown any funds paid 1 year college fees and gic only i have 6.5 band no less then 6 i have 7.7 cgpa as well related course as well still i got 2 rejection i had submitted all the documents which are necessary except showing fund 3rd time i done every financial need i can possibly could, i took education loan + show 18 lakh bank balance certificate and property valuation report 3rd time i don't want to take any risk at all but you don't need to do everything that i have done but try to show funds

​@@nobman7247There is no such requirement of funds dude, I have been a visa processing officer since last 5 years, your rejection is based on change of field, low marks in few subjects, additional backlogs and many other factors, which includes a luck factor. I did 100+ student visas last year and none of them showed any kind of funds, it's just that you have to select a good course and college or uni, which matches you academic profile and you are good to go 😅

You can follow the instructions of your visa counsellor and you have to keep trust in them, just make sure to select a good college and a course which matches your previous studies. There are no such requirements of funds to be shown if you are paying your GIC, but still if you are dicey and you have a good amount in your bank then go for it dude otherwise it's alright.

Don't fall into the trap of main campus, it doesn't matter for pgdiploma students as we have done our bachelor's degree in our home country from the same stream! Consider factors such as 1. Course 2. Accomodation 3. Part time jobs 4. Coop facilities In the college! For example Lambton College has Sarnia and Toronto campus, Toronto is a satellite campus though has all the facilities as compared to Sarnia, although it has a huge campus but insufficient accomodation and part-time job opportunities! So consider all parameters and then make decisions
