No this ride is honestly scarier than any Rollercoaster ever. The way it leaves you hanging up there for what seems like HOURS!!

I just mentioned this point in my comment not long ago. I went to this park a few weeks ago. I didn’t go on this ride but I can just tell from how high it goes that it’s intense for sure. It also doesn’t make sense that the cyclone has a higher height restriction than this ride. I can just tell this ride is more intense than the cyclone for sure. Heck maybe even more intense that the slingshot. At least being this high for a few seconds isn’t bad but I wouldn’t do well being stuck up this high for however long not knowing when I’m gonna come down. The cyclone isn’t that intense. I rode that ride but I’ve been on other roller coasters at Six Flags, Hersheypark and Universal and there’s plenty of more intense roller coasters than the cyclone.

@@ryankalata Yes, I remember that comment. Sorry I forgot to respond, my bad. The height restriction is odd and they saw the Go Pro and didn't allow it which kinda sucks. Otherwise I would shown that footage a swell. maybe next time try again only conceal it in a jacket. Cyclone rocks though and really shaky given its age.

The one on the Steel Peer in Atlantic City NJ gives me chills, as it literally stands over water at the end right hand corner of the peer and the rotations take you out over the water. You feel as if you are going to detach from the main arm and get thrown into the ocean & drown. It's even worse at night. Aside from the location, fun ride.

Haha this is By Lot B in Luna Park and i sold Luna card and Wristbands by this ride . It seems like a fun swing ride One thing i cannot fathom is how long your stuck up there. Kinda like the Wonder Wheel when your stuck up there while other people are boarding.

One thing that I don’t understand is why does this ride have a lower height restriction than the Cyclone? To go on the Cyclone it’s 54 inches but this ride is 52 inches. When I went here a few weeks ago I didn’t go on this ride but I can just see how intense it is from watching it. This is probably the most intense ride in the park and maybe even more so than the slingshot. At least the slingshot your never stuck up at the high height for that long. You’re only this high for a few second whereas on this ride you could be stuck up top for anywhere from less than a minute to 10 minutes however long it takes to get the people on the bottom secured in. I think the worst part is being stuck up 130 feet not knowing how long you could be stuck up here for. If anything this ride should have either the same height restriction as the cyclone if not higher.

This is like the zipper but way higher and you’re stuck up there for a while. One thing I wouldn’t do good with is being stuck up that high for that long. It would feel to me like I’m going to fall out.

Yes, the zipper is fun too. That really twirls you around but not a high. You're also enclosed in a seated cage so the height and factor isn't a bad but still intense and fun to ride.

How much are rides at Coney Island these days

I don't recall exactly so I Googled it. According to sources, prices are height-specific, ranging from $43 to $65 per person. If you’re planning to just check out a few rides - each costs between 3 to 7 points - you can get a card at the ticket booth and add money to it. The minimum is $20, which gets you 20 points. For $40, you can cover 3-4 rides for two people. Hope this helps and have fun!!!!
