I watched someone go through the entirety of Conker's Bad Fur Day and that game's story progression feels like you're hopping between the embodiment of multiple non-sequiters with pop culture references littered about. In other news, I cannot believe that out of everyone in those Jackass clips, only one of those dudes died and it was incredibly under the influence.

If dmc Dante wasn't Dante - like if he was called Biff Chadwick or something that didn't link him to Devil May Cry - he would be an okay protagonist. However, he's Dante, and Dante was already charming, cool, and funny, so dmc Dante was a massive step down.

Too bad the PC versions locked to 30fps. Only the Definitive edition which is console exclusive runs at 60, I genuinely hope whoever thought that was a good idea was fired (DMC1 on PS2 ran at 60 and so does pretty much every other character action game).

For me and coney, people who never played dmc before, this game was amazing. For fans of the (imo) bad combat, it felt like someone ruined their game. Neither of us is wrong.

Dmc:Dmc was my first game in the series as well. Bought the old 1-3 collection and DMC 5 with it. The story is not great, definitely had a Dante not as good as the main series, and there were some enemies that felt awful to fight since it invalidated the grab. Also real sad about how short the Vergil section is. But it was a sweet game to play. Good gameplay with nice accessories and skins, the hook combos were a different direction that I’d still play the game for, and the weapon switching felt smooth even if you got less weapons because of it. It was a decent game but it was lacking length and depth. Not as good as the others but it has its place.

DmC Dante sucked, (I’m calling him Dante instead of Donte or Dino because some people might not understand the joke) the scene with the succubus was his only good scene, (and even then it’s not great) the rest were either boring or unfunny. The game itself was good though it should’ve been a new IP instead of just having the DMC name slapped on it even though it’s almost completely unrelated. Also as other people have pointed out DmC being Coney’s favorite game in the series isn’t surprising since the only other game in the series he’s played is DMC2, which is not only the worst game in the series by far but considered to be one of the worst video game sequels of all time. In other words: please for the love of god go play DMC3.

Nah man, the gameplay in vanilla DmC was absolute hot trash in comparison to 3 4 and 5. The Definitive Edition improved it a lot but even then it just wasn't as good as 4 and 5.
