The CAA has been working very hard to solidify their league. Impressive. Their lineup is super strong.

A move I surprisingly didn't see coming

I hope West Florida gets an invite to the A-sun

I'm shocked that Howard chose to stay put. I hope it's rewarded for doing so because I'm not convinced that the MEAC is viable long-term.

I dig the new look for the channel!!!

I've always liked the blue NCAA/CBS logos and script font logos. This is a mixture of both. This logo is more professional-looking. Last logo was a bit ClipArt-ish.

@@d1_360 I liked the football in the other one but I understand what you mean. I've had a few different looks and color schemes for my channel. It always takes a minute to find the right look. That font looks familiar though

@@LymetimeProductions I just looked at your channel. Your thumbnails are ridiculously good. The backdrop in some of those stadiums is stunning -- better than it looks IRL.

@@d1_360 thank you so much, that means so much! Sometimes simplicity is better for thumbnails, can't have them too busy

I think Gardner Webb would prefer to stay in the Big South and appeared to be trying to start a rivalry with Campbell. I hope they will pivot know and look for a new home as It looks like the Big South might be in trouble. Just not sure who would want them perhaps the Southern Confrence?

In the 2022 NCAA tourney, only American, A-10, Big East, Mt West and WCC received multiple tourney bids. The CAA only got one bid. The CAA will have 16 teams when Campbell comes into the conference. The A-10 with 15 and the American, who will have 14, are the two biggest conferences. It makes no sense for the CAA to have so many teams and they aren't getting multiple bids to the NCAA. I bet Gonzaga is happy when BYU leaves, they will only have to split the NCAA money with 9 teams, as it stands now! Less is more for smaller conferences.

Just thought about this? Since the 2009-10 season make a chart of each new conference member’s Pomroy in their new conference. Example Loyola in the MVC had a higher Pomroy than when they were in the Horizon. This was show if that new school helped the conference or not.

What D2 schools could move up to Big South. Maybe Georgia schools
@mgill242 жыл бұрын
West Georgia, North Georgia, Valdosta State and I wish Savannah State never dropped down to D2
@mgill242 жыл бұрын
@Christopher well from what I heard Savannah State, Fort Valley State and Albany State may become Georgia A&T

@d1_360 Do you think either or both Hampton/NC A&T will decide to return back to the MEAC? Feel of the two Hampton would be more likely. Also Delaware seems likely to move to BCS, if so what conference would be the best option? I feel either MAC/Sun Belt.
@d1_36010 ай бұрын
I don't see anyone ever returning to the MEAC. I think once Howard's next president takes over, they'll join the CAA next time there's an opening (Delaware leaving?). I don't think the MEAC exists 10 years from now.

Would like Big South to move away from football at this point and look to add some teams like Augusta, Georgia Coll., North Georgia, & Francis Marion. They fit the athletic and academic profile of the schools already in the Big South. It opens a new market in Georgia without stretching the footprint beyond bus trips. Queens would be a great fit for the Big South if they could somehow swing that.
@damascuslutin39562 жыл бұрын
Since the Big South is in need of 🏈 schools to stay a float what about the BiG South cherry picking from D2 South Atlantic conference you have schools like Lenoir - Rhyne etc

Do you think the CAA is done?

Yes. Gotta give your school better than a 1-in-16 shot at the NCAA Tournament.

@@d1_360 Do you think the CAA eventually splits into two conferences?
@d1_3602 жыл бұрын
@@kevinwhite3340 A split where ~8 schools take over/rebrand the shell of another conference on the verge of folding is plausible, but still very slim IMO.

Wagner would have been a better fit. They REALLY need to get out of the NEC
