"Well my answer is that I--" Sorry, just had to pull the whole "Rose Tyler, I--" on you there lol. This was so good Dreamy! I really like the framing of this story and how you set up the two characters reconnecting in this way. I really like the slight awkwardness that was there between the two at the beginning, as there's so much history between them that how could it not be awkward? The way that the background noise dies out when the two go off to talk in private was also really good and provided a strong sense of the two of them being sequestered together and giving even more of a intimate nature to the scene. The fear and nervousness that this character has when she opens up to the listener was really well done and I fully believed the nervous rambles alongside the confessions of adoration and love. The descriptions of the two just being domestic together and how much the listener did for her were also great, as they provided more evidence for the connection between the two and what the speaker missed. I'm sure all their friends will feel such vindication when the two get back together lol! I'm very glad you're managing your condition Dreamy. A friend of mine had something similar so I know how troublesome it can be. I hope that you get everything sorted out and you are doing much better soon! Love all you do Dreamy!

Omggg, this was sooo good. The emotion of it all, the reconnecting after a long time to reignite the flame that had dulled to sparks. It was sweet, but with passion, and longing. Made me a little teary, but maybe that's because I miss some people. And I love how the history makes things awkward, but also acts as a way to bridge the gap that had formed between them. It provides the soil of connection for the seed of intimacy to bloom into the vibrancy of renewed love. Also, her nervousness at the confession, too real. Listener better say yes, she is too sweet to say no too! She deserves that chance, i think. And work from bed? Unless I turn sleep walking into sleep working, I don't get that. But glad you're doing good, sounds a little difficult recently.

As someone with a immigrant parent honestly this hit near to home, when i was older my mom confest that she only marry my father for the green card, at that time it was even easier to fake the all things about the marriage, my dad was a recently graduated college student so he did it for the money, they got a house with three rooms (again at that time i was easier to pull something like that) so they can have they own rooms and one that look like a married bethroom. For what she say it was really easy, in a couple of years everthing was aprove an in not time they prepare to act like they where divorcing. Cut to today they are going to celebrate their 46th wedding anniversary in July, so aparently this story was also more something like a "Roomate to lover" where they found out they are super compatible and they started to catch feeling after a couple of months of being together but only fully started to date after neither of them was happy with the idea of ​​getting a divorce. like they say reality is weirder than fiction🤣

Interesting story. Unless she was a VERY close friend, I wouldn't have married someone just to help them get a green card. While I doubt I'll ever get married, I only believe people should be in love when they get married. But that's just my opinion. TBH, I don't know why these two even decided to divorce to begin with. They seem perfect for each other and a re-marriage between the two of them sounds like a storybook ending to me.
