Back in 2015 during my master dissertation, I had the opportunity to meet a person who is under the influence of drugs. She told me a heart breaking story where her cousin brother "a religious person/pastor" denied to help her as it counter his status of being a religious person. The big question today is that "How far are willing to help them or accomodate them beyond prayers?" Church as an institution have the biggest role in helping them. Does our help ends with prayer or do we go beyond that?. The reality speaks different. Drug addiction is real and it needs "acceptance" as the biggest weapon to overcome their addiction.

Substance abuse is one area of my personal worries for our generation and next generations to come. Not only in Lamka, we have seen lots of younger generations around the world who dependent on drugs on daily basis including developing and first world countries. In our current situation it’s beyond epidemic and now it’s pandemic across societies, continents and worldwide. Personally beyond peer pressure it’s more of anxiety , depression, mental health and the circumstances we are lead on. Also the environment we are surrounded make us do what we want to and regrets later. I hope these gentlemen’s are well taken care and they progress in life. We need to rehabilitate and give them job to keep them busy. I hope the government focus on correctional rather than moral policing. Prayer & concern to all. 👍🙏💐

Address what, why, which and the where thing first go wrong. First thing first. One thing people should know is, the addicts are mostly and usually the most useable, worthy, intelligent and sociable among the siblings.
