Nacho_ 2045, Steven has a lot of issues and now there’s nobody to help so he can’t ignore it anymore, do a rewatch of every season and keep in mind, how many times someone tries to kill him (some ended up being his friends) all the time he takes responsibility for things that aren’t his problems to fix, and ask yourself if a kid his age should really have his problems. The answer is Steven hasn’t been himself for a long time, he was once a goofy immature kid.

I never saw them as filler; I was taken aback when I first saw the term. Beach City and its residents are crucial to the story, at least as I experience the story. An Ronoldo, well, he's annoying, but I see him as a tragic figure, full of pathos yet capable of love. He is trying to fill his emptiness and find purpose with his crazy theories.The episode that recounts his and Lars' past together, and the one where gravity malfunctions and he thinks he can finally meet the aliens, reveal his humanity and vulnerability. I don't like him, but I just can't hate him.

I like him as a foil for Steven especially the ep. where he moves in with the Crystal Gems and becomes so unbearable Steven has to kick him out. And I like him as comic relief. If I knew him personally, I am sure I'd dislike him but somehow he'd still be my friend. Maybe that's why I like him as a character: dont we all have a friend like Ronaldo? Or at least we used to for a really long time? That one super annoying person that you roll your eyes about and they always owe you money and want to sleep on your couch every other night but somehow you can't help but care about them.

I watched like five minutes of the episode where Steven’s fingers turned into cats. Not a great place to start and for YEARS I thought Steven Universe was rubbish. Started seeing some online clips about how it was making aware of abuse and LGBTQ+ relationships and I thought “let’s give it another go.” Holy Hell I love this show! I found out about SU REALLY late while searching crossovers for Gravity Falls. I just looked at Steven and said "that looks kinda boring" Then my friend asked me if I knew what SU was and I said no. She asked me to watch the first episode and I'm lije, ice cream? (The rap got stuck in my head) I think as soon as antagonists that are rlly important like Peridot and Jasper came into play that SET me off. Honestly it's wholesome (until like, season 4-future) the fandom just agreed silently in the middle of Future that Steven needs therapy... No there aren't, because that's not the definition of a filler episode! Fillers are non-canon episodes, made by anime companies usually, when a series based of a manga for example has to wait for the mangaka to release more chapters, so they have something to put on tv. Every single SU episode was meant to exist, and the Ronaldo ones are good too, I mean, Ronaldo is the literal representation of the annoying part of SU's fandom, people are bothered by him for this reason and they don't even realize it!

My first Steven Universe episode was Jailbreak with my cousin. Now, you've got to understand, I would always go up to his house when visiting my dad's on weekends because we were literally apart by the length of 2 trailers with a playground inbetween out in the middle nowhere (not really, but we were in a very rural town). His house had internet, ours didn't because we were farther down the hill, and even then his wasn't very good. We would usually play Mario Kart on his Wii (I was 9, him 7) and then go in the living room where his sister Lea (who was about 16) would be watching something and we'd watch it with her. At that age, she was very into anime, such as Naruto, but she would let us watch something more kid-friendly, so the compromise was usually Regular Show (cause that's kid-friendly, yeah, sure), Adventure Time, or, you guessed it, Steven Universe. (She also liked Teen Titans, but we watched these on mostly dvd and their streaming network didn't carry it. I still found and fell in love with it though.) We probably watched a lot of Season 1, because I only remember brief glimpses of Lapis, Peri and Jasper and nobody else important except for the Crystal Gems and some Connie and Greg. But I remember watching Jailbreak that evening, and being confused yet excited (probably didn't help we usually watched out of order and I had fallen asleep to "The Return" the previous night.) at what was on screen. A Ruby looking for her friend Sapphire, okay, reuniting, sweet (the kiss flew right over both our heads, not Lea though) and combining to form *le gasp* GARNET? Great plot twist! She sings a song while they take control of the ship, nice, they start to go down, Steven yells about Lapis, who I was actually very concerned for. They survive the explosion, (HOW? I DON'T CARE HOW STRONG YOUR BUBBLEGUM IS, IT SHOULD'VE POPPED BUT WHATEVER!) and then Lapis is grabbed as she tries to flee. She agrees to fuse (which Jake and I very openly yelled at her for, and I was picking up some "not okay" vibes from Jasper's looks and tone). And then, enter Malachite. Yay. Lapis takes her prisoner, I yell at the Cystal Gems for being useless this whole time, and the episode ends. Years later I came back, and have not been dissapointed. If you made it this far, here, some ice cream🍦 to make up for your lost time. Good Day!☺

The first episode I saw was Mr. Greg and I thought that Pearl was Steven’s mom. Later I saw Back to the Barn and that just only increased my confusion. Later when my family got Hulu I proceeded to binge the entire series up until I am My Mom. That was the latest episode and had came out quite recently. When I was finally caught up. steven universe is honestly my most favorite show EVER! it has gotten me through so much and its one of the only shows i can relate to heavily. i might get yelled at for saying this but pink diamond is honestly one of my most favorite characters and i relate with so much of her to the point its pretty sad .-. i love how the show tackles with its heavy subjects like mental abuse, self doubt, loss, and just so much more! im so sad that we only have 10 more episodes of it left :-:

For years I’ve tried to get my partner to watch Steven Universe and I’d even show him certain episodes to try and show him it wasn’t a silly cartoon like he already perceived. Then he watched the movie with me and something just clicked for him after that. He got me the record for the movie soundtrack and he was super excited about it too. Then one day we were trying to decide on a new series to start and he was like “I’d like to watch Steven Universe from the very beginning”. I was really nervous and I’d even say we could skip some episodes but he was determined to watch every single one. It became our “emotional support cartoon” during this rough 2020 and I’m so happy I got to rewatch the whole series with the love of my life. I even watched a lot of the filler episodes I skipped and came to appreciate them. (Except anything with Ronaldo, my partner and I would just dunk on him whenever he showed up and that was actually a fun experience). Now we’re trying to figure out where to watch Steven Universe Future and my partner can’t wait. It’s been such a monumental show for both of us and it will always have a special place in our hearts. ❤️💙💜🤍💖

When I first saw some steven universe memes and all on the internet (around season 2 of the show) I didin't thought too much of it but then an artist I really like said that the show was great and I thought "Let's give it a try" and OMG this show really changed me and has been an emotional support for the last years. I have an abussive family and because of that I had a very rough time: didn't know how to interact with people, had a lot of anger stored, didn't know how to talk about my feelings, hated myself etc... And well... this show thaught me all the things my family didn't. I can't be sad that it ended because I feel like it will always be a part of me, it will never die somehow
