C-Milk lied a lot, he fabricated Xinjiang genocide story by adding emojis to Uyghurs people’s TikTok video clips that have nothing to do with genocide. His story of fleeing China can’t add up and can’t be trusted, because he returned China a few weeks later and no questions were asked at border, no police arrested him at his house. Later he was able to sell his apartment. If the CCP wants to hunter him down, his wife would have been arrested first while he was away, and he would have been arrested when he was trying to re-enter China. If as he said he was so scared and fled China, how come he dare to go back China weeks later without fear? The is BS, only 3 year old kid will believe what he said…

Listen to your guest and be assured he and Sepenza are the most reliable and generous to the Chinese people, and absolutely correct about the Social Credit Program and the CCP IN GENERAL. Matt (Laowhy86, C-Milk) is such a genuine great guy. You can tell by the fact that he constantly promotes his business partner, Winston (SerpentZa) instead of taking all the glory for himself. I love watching their channels, they have 5 in total now. One is a car channel and is a bit dormant at the moment, as they concentrate on the problems in China with Xi Jinping implementing the 0% Covid Policy. There 3 documentaries were amazingly beautifully shot (with a skeletal crew) and are so eye opening. Watching & listening to them on their motorcycles banter back & forth, you just enjoy their easy friendship. They are always 1 step ahead of the main channels (yeah, they are THAT GOOD), showing us what the CCP is doing to its population.

Do not book in October through December because the storms off Siberia in the fall are some of the worst in the world. I always wondered if Laowhy ever saw the Travel documentary TV show called Departures made by some awesome Canadians in the Mid 2000’s. I know that show inspired me to travel. Laowhy and SerpentZA’s documentaries really felt like a spiritual successor to Departures in my mind, and gave me the same yearning to travel all over again. Not saying they were influenced at all by that show, but I sure felt some strong similar core intentions behind them both when it came to showing what travel is really like, both the up’s and downs, but even more gritty and personable! Great interview both of you! Really enjoyed this! I really like how comfortable of a dynamic you two have, it makes sense that you are both friends. I enjoy interviews like this where the dynamic is so effortless, and respect the strong mutual understanding you both have, which really helps clarify the difficult subject matter when an interviewer and interviewee can support each other, and increase the understandability and clarity of a subject, and prevent a situation where one is talking past the other. It's incredibly surreal to sit here and look at the beautiful futuristic picture behind Matt and after listening to all of this and the first thing that comes to mind is the term Putting lipstick on a pig. Just goes to show that no matter how beautiful something looks on the outside it can still be a dystopian nightmare for real. Makes me still feel really blessed to have grown up in the United States. Looking at all that is affecting todays youth and society, I would not trade growing up when I did being born in 1970. To be able to experience free play and the ability to explore this beautiful country throughout my lifetime. No the US is not perfect and sadly seems to be more and more gravitating towards more authoritarian policies. Yet it's no wonder so many are still trying to come hear.

Hi, many thanks Mr Harbinger and Mr Laowhy86 for a great, informative & insightful interview. I knew prior to listening that both Mr Laowhy, & Mr Serpentza had left for good,- & that they didn’t leave on their own accords, but rather because they had no other option but too leave. But I didn’t know of any specific details, & I feel grateful that I came across this episode from 2 y/a. *To hear Mr Laowhy tell his story about how he left, how quickly his,- and his family’s world changed - from him feeling that he had found his new home to suddenly experience how his surroundings changed in their view of him/foreigners in general to such a degree where he no longer was safe and had to leave the country immediately!* The intensity of the situation, & the seriousness he and his family were in. Knowing this and knowing how much he is still doing is a profound testament of his strong character, which is visible in all the content he do, both his own content as well as the content he & Mr SepentZA is doing together. *(and side note/ Mr Serpentza is imo similar to Laowhy, a man with great character & and man who I think very highly about!)* It’s amazing to see that both *Mr Laowhy & Mr Serpentza* continues to advocate for human rights,- & they through their platforms reaches millions of people across the world with their content. Thanks again 🙏 Respectfully, Grace

23:17 when I heard what this is about it reminded me of the system when my parents were students in Bulgaria (then communist country under the Soviet control ). They basically had notes for behavior and if you have 2 times the lowest grades(which are mostly crimes against the regime) you’re expelled from school and can only go to one in a village where you would get by default lower grades, cause at this point, you would be considered an ennemi of the regime and further more you wouldn’t be able to get in a university and have a good job. On the other hand, if your parents are on a top stand, even if you have bad grades for the other subjects, you can be accepted wherever you want, not even having enter exams. And this show on the social media if someone status in China reminded me of a cult I heard about where they do a similar thing.

Knowing I was gonna die soon if I didn't get help, I wrapped a t-shirt around my arm and went to the hospital next door(!) to where I lived. They told me to go to another hospital, so I caught a taxi down the road (blood all over my clothes now). That hospital wanted 2,000 yen before they'd help. Funnily enough, I'd forgotten to go to the bank before I went to the hospital. I started cussing the doctor out and he hid in his office. My girlfriend arrived with money and we ended up going to a third(!) hospital where she paid the money and I got 36 stiches.

i did Chinese studies at university post-graduate... (but didn't complete diploma)... I was considered for a Friend of Hebei award and filmed for state TV before the final decisions. But due to being politically questioned by a student in front of everybody and telling her sharply to sit down (cos I'm not allowed to comment on politics)... basically she tried to hold me to account for my country (and that is NZ and US but in this case US)... and cos of my continuing to sharply tell her to sit down, and her victim-posing crying in front of the class and disobeying me to continue standing there seeking sympathy after politically attacking me... I got told that I had to reapply for the second half year of my visa that had already been granted for the year. And that's how they make you leave voluntarily, but under unwelcome status. Then my publisher told me that he couldn't do any further books for me. I just went to HK then back into GuangZhou and DongGuan to finish the book production and shipping then I left for the US in preparation for getting a visa to a new job in Saudi Arabia at good pay. But it was touch and go to afford everything, because it happened in short notice. Like a American guy who was verbally abusive to me in front of a large discussion group who were there to watch a series of films that were his own propaganda about evolution... In the process of abusing me (over the idea that Neandertal can be ancestors, and I was proved right the following month by the decoding of the genome at the Max Planck center in Europe)... he inadvertently or otherwise attacked the identity of Beijing Man as ancestral... and that is a very sensitve subject. So they told him that they couldn't get past a new regulation requiring old people age limit for teachers or some such. But it's not like my experience in those other countries was not problematic either. So I can't really single China out. But it was unfortunate cos I really like you say having put down roots, being very fond of people etc. Also I had a few items of Chinese culture and writing in my book that I was just publishing cos of language families and language evolution, new knowledge, giving new linguistic ideas and theories, as to why I could correlate the Gaidhlig and the Native American languages so perfectly in the vocab to the extent of every word. Where it made it easier to learn the Native American. So I had some wide language info to make sense of it. So I had to guess that possibly that was part of their dosier against me.

Regarding plastics recycling in the US: #2 HDPE is the most recyclable, the recovery rate is about 31%. #1 PET is second; about 28% recovery. #5 PP is third, about 17%. All of the rest are near-zero, and are pretty much thrown away when they get to the plant. The only plastic that should go in the recycling is #1, 2, and 5. Throw the rest in the trash so they don't have to at the plant.

yes, not everything with the "recycling symbol" is actually recyclable. Reuse those as much as you can, compress the item as much as possible and cut anything that could snag onto an animal when you're ready to toss it.

I'm not some recycling nut, but there's only so much space left in landfills though.. They're not bottomless pits and will inevitably run out of space. They _really_ need to figure out a better solution, rather than just continuing to bury all the "unrecyclable" things. 🤷🏻♂️

The whole "recycling" scam is just that, a scam. It is surreal that billions are actually still buying into it. Recycling means burning and still pollutes a LOT more than what we're told, both the air and soil, and where they tell us things are sorted out and recycled means in truth that it is all still thrown onto one big pile and burned all-together, i've seen it with my own eyes. Only TRUE way to stop the pollution of plastics (or any other pollutant) is to STOP the hypocrisy and stop producing them in the first place. Only a material that is 100% degradable should be produced and used, and for instance the stuff cocacola is currently doing with the bottle-caps is ridiculous and does nothing to the actual issue, if anything it is even worsening the underlying problem. Don't shoot the messenger though, but that is His two cents.

Absolutely true about the recycling sham. Californians sort out plastics for recycling only for it to all go into a landfill in Nevada because it isn't cost effective to actually recycle it.
@ctwolf2 жыл бұрын
same in canada lol
@chrisanderson5317 Жыл бұрын
There used to be actual recycling in California, but thanx to the legislature, it went away in the early 2000s. landfills used to hire homeless people to sort glass, metal, and plastic and paid them according to piece-rate. The state legislature put a stop to that and forced them to pay minimum wage. They've done practically no recycling since then.

What's really maddening is that the oil companies knew it'd be uneconomical to recycle most plastics this whole time, which led to them inventing the whole "recycling" numbering system.

1:40:30 I don’t know about China, but Russia has already a lot of experience with propaganda. My father’s friend is married to a Russian and said we don’t know how bad it is there cause no one could talk. If you even make a joke about Putin in the street you will get in prison. And internet is controlled. And he said that the two cities you can live a bit normally are Moscow and St Petersburg. The other parts are really poor and people are taking their own life because of the hard conditions. And most of them don’t even have passport cause they are so poor they can’t afford it. So people there cannot tell what they really think. I am more upset with people in free countries who are telling how authoritarian countries are better and misleading others. But in fact, even when trying to present how great is there, they don’t move to live there.

In 2018, I was dating a Chinese woman. I used to watch Iaowhy and Serpenza alot back then (still do but even more so back then due to dating a Chinese woman and wanted to know more about China). Seeing if it was a country I could live, as I was dating her. Though my education wasn't high enough to live and work there (thankfully so!). It was a experience to be there, I was in Beijing and the many security checks were insane to me. They also prepared me for the rockstar feeling you get there as white person. Constantly people came to me to take a picture with me, it was so weird. Some politely asked, others would just walk up to me and make a picture of me alone, that was freaky as hell. I also learned a few red flags and those I did see in my girlfriend when I was there. See, she used to study in my country were we met. She was very different then, we went on vacation to America together, she was very different there, but in China..o boy did she turn into a very scary person there. We broke up when I was safely home again, didn't want to end up in Chinse prison cause she fabricating a story or what. These guy's made me look forward to see China, but also warned me about things you run into, and thankfully I was prepared. Then in the same year I heard Laowhy had fled the country and seeing how everything was crumbling down. Real shame, cause for a while it seemed like China was going the right way. I did like quite some things when I was there, the Summer Palace was a really beautiful place, though as it is right now, I will never go back, not with these leaders.

Mexico has a special recycling system. There is just one truck that picks up all the gargage. But if you separate the recyclables, there will be somebody who comes around and collects the recyclable cans and plastic. It's nothing official, people here just do whatever they can to earn money. The recycling thing is a misunderstanding. I took a university class on this in Hong Kong. Recycling bins are SUPPOSED TO always, intentionally be set up just for show initially. Once people develop the habit of using the bin, THEN actual recycling infrastructure can be implemented. Otherwise that recycling infrastructure will go unused, since the bin will be a novelty that people won't use yet.

I'm glad he finally woke up and go out of there, it could have ended a lot worse for him. Unfortunately it's not even close to being over for his wife's family members, it's a shame that he put them in this situation with his self-absorbed arrogance and need to produce click-bait. I remember running across one of this rube's videos about eight ago or so. at that point I traveled to China extensively on business for almost 20 years and seen many changes both good and bad, I tried to give him some advice as to what he was dealing with, but you couldn't tell him anything , he and his buddy were experts on all things China because they drove around on motorcycles with a GoPro camera and had a KZbin channel romanticizing China . It was not uncommon for the people we worked with to see Chinese engineers and managers suddenly disappear from job sites after speaking about the "wrong" topics to foreigners they worked with , never to be mentioned again. I doubt they were killed, but it's safe to say they were sent to China's version of Siberia to work on construction sites over there. The one thing we all learned early on is you don't put the Chinese nationals you're working with in positions that can cause them harm just because you feel their government would operate different, China has a very corrupt government that puts little value on life of it's citizens.

Self-censoring to keep your friends and family off the government hit list is exactly what the Party wants you to do.
