What are the settings you used to engrave a photo onto bamboo lid

Hi there! Does the bamboo lid come off? If so, the engrave settings for bamboo (speed 60, power 5, lines per in. 160) should work the same. Just make sure to get the thickness and input as an uncertified material.

helllo, i cannot get my glowforge aura to save any settings over the default 400 speed / 10 power...is there a way? i'm trying to do silicone. thank you

I was wondering how thick can I do a keychain? i would like to use a photo of my husband and I sticker paper and apply that to wood or acrylic? Thank you.

Hi!! Yes, definitely trial and error. I also have the Glowforge Pro, so I took the settings from there and it kinda helped guide me for the settings for the Aura. Hope this helps! Workin’ on more settings for ya!

I folllwed your guidance for a bamboo spoon, adjusting the size and it didn’t even engrave it? I don’t want to break the machine

Hi there! Apologies for the late response - have you measured the thickness of your spoon? Sometimes it doesn't engrave at all if the spoon is too far away from the laser due to the measurement inputted. Feel free to send over any screenshots to my email [e-mail] and I'd love to help you!

I’m try to cut a file in the aurora but is coming out dark really dark how can I change that
