Brother Barry, I love your teaching and Charis in general, but I have heard brother Andrew say vehemently how much he hates sickness. And so do I, but why don't we hate death as much? Is it because death is the only way to go be with the Father? I have just been to a celebration of life for my young nephew and I am angry at the pain that his death has brought in family. I don't believe that I am sin (at least I hope not) but I do feel shaken.

The will of God is never sickness and death, as Andrew said, illness is a small measure of death, and this is not the will of God. The devil is the one who steals and kills, 'And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul.' We must firmly believe that the Lord Jesus has overcome death, and your nephew must be in heaven with Jesus now. We thank God for this. However, towards the devil, which causes death and disease, we hate it. Moreover, we must steadfastly believe in the word of God, live in God's love and beautiful relationship, thank and praise God.
