Temples point away to eternity

When you make covenants, there are two sides (sometimes three) involved, and all parties promise specific things. We do our part, we get blessings. What form do these blessings take? They can be comforting, but we may also get more challenges! That's when we remember that the Lord trusts us to grow and overcome. Sometimes we get promptings and warnings 'in the nick of time', sometimes just a soft impression about what to do. Always trust, keep your faith.

Great message. I would love to have confidence unfortunately I do not. I used to love this church. I’m no longer enchanted. When the modern leadership started calling the previous generations “wrong” how can I remain confident?

Consider: But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed. Galatians 1:8-9 Mormonism IS A DIFFERENT GOSPEL. God gave you the Scriptures to warn you of such things in advance. Now pray to God for wisdom and deliverance from it. And if you are able to go to Church find a good one that preaches The Word. God Bless you in the name of the true Christ who died for your sins.
