um for of all you talking about that calculator. That's a standard calculator. You will probably need it in college for higher-level maths. It's called a TI-84.

Casio also has good ones. But nowadays there tons of calculators online, desmos has a good one

Yes, but when checking the independence condition we must be sure our sample of 50 adults is no greater than 10% of the entire population. So as long as the population has at least 500 adults, we can sample without replacement.
