Question Avery, is the trinity basically saying Jesus is God, Jesus is the father, and Jesus is the Holy Spirit? Because Jesus basically said he’s one with the father (John 10:30 and John 14:9) and Jesus clearly says he’s God (I’m not trinitarian, I’m oneness apostolic). Everything I know about the trinity is this: Jesus is God, fathers God, Holy Spirit is God and Jesus in his human form submitted to the father, so my question is this: what makes the trinity biblical? When I first became a Christian because of a dream with Jesus in it, I didn't even know if Jesus was God. I had not even read the Bible yet. It was a Muslim colleague who immediately said who Jesus was and gave me a Quran. he just said the same thing as this man. God cannot do this, God cannot do that. The Gospel is corrupt. The Quran has remained the same letter by letter word by word. Three years of reading the Quran and hadiths and the Bible I can say that the Christian God is the most powerful, and the most righteous, and the most loving. And Jesus is God in the flesh, not because he had to do it for himself but he did it for us! not because we loved him first, but because he loved us. Jesus was crucified on a Wednesday. There were 2 sabbath days that week. He 100% was buried 3 days and 3 nights!!! Rememeber Jewish days start at sun SET. So he was killed on Wednesday, rushed into the tomb before sunset. So He was in the tomb Thursday during the night, Thursday during the day (1). Friday during the night, Friday during the day (2). Is actually clearer if you read the next chapter going to admonish the jews at the temple and then return to the fig tree to see it withered. In the book of John the day of crucifixion was before a high day, meaning a high holy day, which was also called a Sabbath, but was not a weekly Sabbath. Therefore Jesus was not crucified on a Friday, but on a Wednesday. The Thursday was the first day of unleavened bread, which was considered as a Sabbath rest day.
