the g5 has a lot of issues and your reviews are really good at showing what they are instead of just being "g5 is bad" i'm looking forward to seeing the parte two

I was so happy when I watched ANG and was relieved that they didn’t make him into an idiot, like what me and others feared. But then, TYT and MYM came and took away everything I loved about his character. As Silver quill mentioned: “You know, he was more of a pillar of strength for the community when he was racist, I don’t like that.”

1:38 The movie could've easily answered this question by having Hitch saying that he's going to home to his parents, but Phyllis takes him home for some reason. 1:40 What exacerbates this is that Hitch doesn't have some kind of boss or anyone to report to, like a police chief or mayor. WHO gave him the badge and declared him Sheriff?? 8:47 When I first watched this, I was expecting some twist where Hitch robbed the stuff in his sleep. If Hitch knows that he has a habit of sleepwalking, it will explain locking himself up, but no. It also doesn't help that in that same episode he admits that he needs a new deputy and then forgets about it. 43 episodes later (and counting)! 🤦‍♂

The fact that they had James Marsden voice him in a new generation helped make his character awesome in that!

7:14 "Comprimend" is officially a word, now! Over the years, I learned to chalk up these sorts of inconsistencies, stupidities and things like that to BAD PRODUCING. There is a need to get these out the door in time, but it would be wise to allocate resources to fix story issues in advance, look for a clear overarching arc and stay in-character. In Hitch's case, the writers probably did not want him to overshadow the other mane cast, but when you have an adopted dragon hatchling...

@turtletum It doesn't matter! A KZbinr giving a tutorial on modeling a human head with planes in 3DS MAX said, "shapeage of an object," before going on a tangent about whether or not "shapeage" is even a word! That's part of the fun of being a content creator! Comprehend + commend = comprimend.

Hitch is my favorite from the movie 💛 in the series i think it's Pipp, she's got so much personality and she's hella funny, and also, smol pony 🩷 Waiting for part two of this! Your videos are calming to watch and great escapism 🌿

i won't lie what she was doing to the town wasn't okay. I do believe that sunny knew that she could help make ponies believe that all races deserve to be in harmony again and isn't afraid to build an audience of true facts from her father who was a historian. I think sunny knew Hitch was her only friend left but she was focused on something else that the writers could put into the story. I'll admit, I wish Hitch stayed behind but it also gave Hitch a chance to learn and understand that NOT everypony is a threat, I mean heck there was no magic for centuries for hoof sake! Yes, I can understand that the movie was a tad rushed but it had its ups and downs but also yes MYM sucked so badly! :D
