Configuring Falcon Controllers from xLights

Keith, Thank you for the informative videos!! Any chance you can do a configuration video on an E682 Sandevices? As a beginner, I'm having issues sorting out the channels/universes and which output they activate on the controller. Thank you!

I am not sure we will do a video per-se as the configuration is basically the same in concept. We do however plan on updating some of the code supporting the SanDevices as it has fallen behind the falcon controllers, FPP and ESPixelSticks which have all received significant upgrades recently.

How do you setup the controller in your models if you are only using inputs 1-4 & 9-11 on a F16v3? I have the first four inputs working, but cannot get ports 9-11 to light properly.

Never mind. I figured it out and am SO excited!!! I had to deactivate the channels I was not using in the F16v3 in the setup tab in xLights and followed your guidance in your video to update the Falcon Player and the F16v3. Now I can expand and be totally ready for Christmas 2020!

Hey Keith, if i have a 200 ws2811 pixels as 1 string its 170 for a mini tree and 30 for the star on that tree, should i put them like this.... Tree #1:1 and star >tree 1:1?

AB 911 the name in the star start channel must match the name of the prior model. Use the elipses and pick it from the drop down list to make sure you get it right.

Hey Keith if i already have an alphapix controller set up on xlights but i want to go with a falcon, do i habe to delete everything and start fresh or do i just edit the IP adreess to te falcon IP adreess and save the changes?

You dont have to ... but its just as easy to delete them and re-add them.
