Thank you so much sir... I'd really appreciate your help... I thought it would be complicated But its so easy and also i thought that this RIP PROTOCOL would give us the necessary information about our neighbouring router or devices But I think it used to transfer the packet/traffic from one network to another network in a LAN...

I want to configure 4 routers in the 10.1.X.X network. Eg: I want to configure 10.1.14.1 and 10.1.12.1, but after one configuration, it is showing that 10.1.12.1 255.0.0.0 overlaps the FastEthernet0/0. Is there any possibility to configure?

Hey guys can you help me understand something? Does RIP send the router's ENTIRE routing table (as textbooks say) or ONLY the networks it's configured to advertise? I mean, I read everywhere that RIP shares the entire routing table of that router but we can see that if we not configure one network to be advertised (through the "network" command), that route never gets shared with the neigboor RIP routers. So... what am I missing?

You can apply the exact same configuration. Here are some examples of configuring multiple routers for EIGRP and OSPF Routing Protocols: OSPF: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pZKWYomhlJKdZ5Y EIGRP: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iqrLfYympNuopLs

Hey Navin....Very Nicely Explained......jst wanna know...weather configuration mode is better or cli mode??plz reply thx
@networkingworldtutorials1476 жыл бұрын
To me i think there is no a better way. It is just a matter of preferences. However, in real life scenarios there wont be CUI (Config mode) . You will have to configure it through CLI.
