Preicate the tutorial. I was attempting to place the screw from the outside in 😂. It kept moving around up until I saw how you placed it from the inside and the little washer portion from the bracket mount itself. Even my supervisors didn't know how to properly place these things. Thank You ! ☺️

Just bought one of these ACH helmets for an absurdly cheap price. Now piecing together the components for the NVS bracket, got the goggles on the way. This will go on my display with my own worn Gulf War PASGT with DBDU cover.

I'm also putting one together but can't seem to figure out which bracket system is best, there are 3 different systems: The Norotos universal NVG Shroud, ACH NVG mount, and Norotos NVG Mounting Bracket. Any suggestion on which I should go with?

@@spwan10 Your setup probably depends on the end means, historical or personal aesthetic. Mine is historical as the helmet is from a National Guard INF REG that went to Afgan in 2012 that came with a traditional NV Goggle Helmet For ACH MICH Helmet NVG PVS-7/14 baseplate bracket. Depending on your price point the dovetails are popular choice but the whole kit may be about approx. $260 (Wilcox or Norotos). Norotos Rhino 2 with a Norotos PVS 15/18 Dovetail socket is viewed as a strong setup.

I feel so stupid. I've always struggled to fit the screw for the NVG mount through the tiny slit on the front of the helmet cover. I normally end up cutting a bigger hole into the cover. I never thought to go from the inside out. Makes much more sense.
