Hey Rach, as a chronic pain sufferer and someone who has dealt with basically every therapy you could possibly imagine and has gone through multiple surgeries, painful injections, every type of treatment you could literally imagine I highly recommend that you do go to physio. Back injuries are no joke, this is something that has been flaring up for you on and off for some time now, the way you explain it makes me think that it's more SI related most people think that SI only affects your butt area but in fact it actually can really affect the lower back in the area that you have been explaining having that constant compression feeling and the pain that you have expressed I highly recommend physio at least twice a week, the manual muscle releasing, combined with the myofascial releasing also dry needling and get them to work in your hips believe it or not the hips actually create most of the back issues even though you may not feel issues in your hips just wait until they start digging in there and you will be like good Lord what is happening to me I wish you nothing but the best and I really do hope that you get some relief and the help that you deserve sending nothing but love and healing vibes.

Yes! PT made me realise I have weak muscles in my hip area that I need to build up, because of it some back muscles were picking up the slack and getting inflamed. I couldn't turn in bed without crying from pain, a week of PT exercise and the pain was gone. No manipulation, cracking or massage could have fixed it long term like PT did.

Rachel, I'm not sure if you've had success removing the cat urine scent, but try diluted vinegar if you haven't! It's cheap and does a wonderful job. I had a cat urinating repeatedly on furniture. I just sprayed diluted vinegar all over it, waited about 10 minutes, then wiped it up.

01:33 - You guys picked one HELL of a day with it being rainy to get rid of recyclables! (I can only imagine if this were being done on a normally warm sunny day - you think about stuff sitting out for a long time, catching sun, catching heat, catching bugs... speaking from past experience). Another lovely Day-in-the-Life viewing again, fam! Take care. (ADD - Nice $$$ haul, by the way!)

As someone who has worked in massage therapy and in physical therapy, I can say everyone likes what they like and nothing can really hurt (as long as you're seeing licensed professionals). Massage and chiropractic work can help things feel better in the short term, but stretching and exercise can help in the long term and prevent future issues. So if your chiropractor can incorporate all of that, go that route!!

Way to recycle girl! BTW LOVE Gilmore girls. Your breakfasts both look delicious. LOW BACK ADVICE (i know youve gotten plenty lol) find a chiropractor with a decompression table. My husband and I deal with low back issues and that table and chiro care AMAZING. Truly, look into it. (I'm also a massage therapist, both chiro and massage compliment eachother) sending healing vibes!

Okay - so I know you have received more than enough advise on this but here is my two cents. I've been in pain for 20 years in my lower back. I used to be runner and had to totally stop; I was also medically discharged from the Navy for it. I've done years of massage, PT, drs appts, muscle relaxers and more. It took finding someone who really did the holistic approach to my pain to discover that it was my hips - the muscles in your hips connect to the lower back and knees and anything going wrong there can cause serious issues across those spots. After 20 years, I got a steroid shot in each hip and have had an enormous reduction in my pain and swelling. Before that, I had a period in December where I couldn't walk for a month due to the pain in my lower back. Good luck!! Chronic pain sucks and finding someone to look at the full picture rather than just one thing (based on their expertise) then you can get a better picture of what is going on.

I would definitely get an mri to figure out what exactly is going on so you can pinpoint what treatment will work best.

I know the last thing you need is advice on your back… lol first you need to make sure there is no spinal issue or pinched nerve. I had a bulging disk and it was affecting my nerve. Therapy and chiropractor would not have worked for me😢 i hope you are just too active! That’s the best case scenario. lol ❤❤
@rebeccaward93657 ай бұрын
I know all you want is more advice but whoever will prescribe an x-ray or mri or both would probably be great so you know who can actually help you since you’ll know if it’s a muscle or skeletal issue. That’s what I would do and I know you’re just dying to know what another stranger would do
