the heart of korea dlc only has residential building models meant for low residential zoning in game, not high residential, if you were wondering why none of the high residential buildings were korean

The commercial and office buildings for the "Heart of Korea" (HoK) pack look so nice, I'd suggest making a dedicated district of just office and commercial zoning that uses the HoK for style, and mark it as an IT cluster, if that works on HoK buildings. As for naming said district, I think something like "Seoul Support" would be entertaining, as it lets the 'general public' and 'city visitors' know what the district is all about, and works in a wonderful pun. I'd also suggest adding metro stations in the various industrial districts as well. That might take some of the load off the roads in those areas, and allow for better traffic flow. You could tie the industrial metro lines into the stations in the HoK area you added in this video, and possibly have one industrial metro connect to one of the green lines as well, to give the industrial workers access to both ends of the city. As a side note, it was a little distracting to see the death markers everywhere, but I'm thinking that's mostly because a death wave is going through, and less due to the removal of the clinic when making room for the new metro station. I'll admit part of me is looking at all those death markers and thinking "Stop dying on him, you ungrateful tagnuts! He's doing his bloody best!"

One idea that I think would be really cool/interesting would be like a suburbs or other small residential area thats set away from the main city, have it connected to the main city by rail (and of course some kind of long winded pointless road connection that they'd be silly to take)

The metro system is quite well done. I personally would have swapped the metro and bus terminals or had them a block over so that the buses connected better. Plentitude park also looks good!

The Korean pack has matching Korean residential. The problem is that you zoned the district with high-density, while the pack contains around 30 low-density residential buildings 😭

I know I’m late in watching this series, and I have loved Dylan’s Cities Skylines videos for years, but I always get a kick out of how much he completely ignores garbage problems and dead people and just plugs right along with something totally unrelated lol. Also perhaps the American in me, but his avoidance of the use of highways to connect areas drives me nuts lol. A few episodes earlier when he said “I’m going to remove the highway and replace it with an Avenue” when it already was full of traffic was just incredible lol.

Loving the video. For the metro, why not go elevated down by the river? Would make the upper city metro underground then it pops out of the cliff elevated? Was also wondering, are you going to play around with the pedestrian only zoning and stuff? Would be awesome to see that.

If you use your walking tours tool, you can help make those parks active, as long as your route scores enough, which it should when you place it next to monuments, unique buildings and such-like. HoK residential is low density that builds as mid density.

When you expand to the other side of the valley, I think it would be cool for the metro to go from underground to above ground bridge, and then back underground, instead of under the whole river valley

Metro is letting people move around more but most of your private transport journeys are probably still directed towards your industry areas which I don't believe are on any of your metro routes. Adding something towards them might bring both your metro use up, as well as bus and road traffic down. Are you also still planning to add in the rail network to your industry? All those bridges it will need might bring down that £11million budget you have.

Maybe i missunderstood at 25:50, in that case sorry, but you do not have to paint the park area anymore to place the stuff on the crosswalks. The moment its unlocked you can put it anywhere you want and it will still function.

I don't know why I bought for PC owners but can't show your what like a high or lower buildings are when I never used the Queen pack on Tomb now and if showed me I need a lower density for the pavilion cos on console like Italian it just shows low house and for the Korean pack you don't have any commercial mixed into it I wish you was you like what like if you need to higher or lower and you are confused it's lower density buildings the Korean pack

I totally get that. Realistically, you'd never need stops that close together, but I find that Cities: Skylines isn't all too realistic with that stuff, and it can be super effective to have 'em closer like that. That said, maybe I'll rip a few out once we get monorails in here. :)
