I clearly remember seeing thief and manhunter at the theater and it was virtually empty both occasions (teens/20s) and I all I could think was...is it me or is this not some very slickest, coolest shit I've ever seen. They both capture the 80s for me in a classic, timeless way.

"Confrontation" was on the Original Soundtrack released in the U.S. It was removed for the European Version of the soundtrack, because TD was a German band with a huge following in Europe. After the American Version went out of print for a while, the only copies you could find here in the U.S. were the European Version without "Confrontation", but with a remix of the "Beach Theme". I had copies of each, and from time to time, the label will re-release the Original U.S. Version. You can still find a good copy if you look around.
@Drforrester312 жыл бұрын
I ended up getting a copy with Confrontation and I could not imagine it being nearly as good without this for a finale

A new version was released in 2013 which includes both "Confrontation" and "Beach Scene" (the remixed Beach Theme, which sounds closer to how it plays in the film). What took so long, I don't know.
