I'm sorry but if there's one fictional place in a TV show where what Eric is saying holds weight its Hollyoaks considering the women berate humiliate and even assault men whenever they do or say something they don't like they blame them for everything that ever goes wrong in their lives. and in some cases even murder them and get away with it cough Theresa Cough Mercedes Cough Grace Cough. to be Honest if I existed in Hollyoaks I'd be too scared to date anyone there. Hell Theresa once murdered a man framed a small time drug dealer for the crime and when he escaped prison and went after her to try and get her to confess so he didn't have to live the rest of his life on the run the show portrayed him as the Villain and Theresa as the innocent little victim who just made a little mistake. which would not have been the case had she not been a good looking blonde woman be honest. to be clear I'm not saying anything about real life just in Terms of the fictional land of Hollyoaks someone like Eric actually has a point.

I can relate to Maxine in that scene, because many people have perceived me as attractive my feelings and struggles were always invalidated, I have been complemented a lot due to the way I look and I have had privileges due the way I look, so I am no way trying to say "oh poor me, people think I'm pretty, I am such a victim" but I am saying it doesn't matter what you look like in life, you will face some hardships and have some insecurities, it's just the way in how you deals with those struggles that can either advance or derail your life.

Oh my OA YES YOU GO MAXINE! I truly love her and her Friendship with Scott they’re both so unique characters and actors I love when she described how Patrick was when she married him but her second Husband she was talking about I’m guessing was or probably Dodger aka Mark but she missed two of them Adam and Damon I really wish they hadn’t killed him off. Who mistreated him? Verity always looked out for him despite what others said, and even covered for him when she found out about the spiking. Eric went on a date with Maxine and despite not being interested in anything more than friendship, Maxine showed Eric kindness but he couldn’t handle being rejected. Diane fair enough didn’t like him but she accepted he was Tony’s brother, and Tony wanted him around. But Eric decided to go around and spike women’s drinks because he couldn’t get a girlfriend.
