I can kinda see what karissa meant about she felt like a shell of herself it’s very easy to lose yourself in the vlogs and just switch off but that makes you something you’re not I loved seeing the little talk section between the both of them it felt more real it felt more natural than the upbeat parts I hope we see more of this it’s like when she had the breakdown on camera a while back you could tell she felt strongly about helping anyone and that’s what I feel KZbin is missing a lot of there’s a handful that feel realistic like this but most seem played up for the camera I liked seeing a more realistic side like this hopefully we see more sit down chats like this love you guys garner gang ftw

I feel so bad for Karissa and her emotional problems. I remember the other video where she opened up about her personal problems and I can relate. (To an extent, anyway. We're two different people, after all.) I have Bipolar disorder/depression and I deal with SO MUCH mental instability at times, there are days I just need to be left alone. The worst part is not even knowing WHY I'm upset - I just do. Even when people tell me how great I am, I still feel like a horrible person. It's an awful feeling beyond control and it HURTS, especially when it's a daily battle. It's uncontrollable and that's the hardest part. (I even had a boyfriend dump me because he couldn't deal with my episodes. I opened up to him and he, ironically, went on about how he can't leave me when I need him the most and that he's going to help me. But a few days later, he texted me that he "can't do it" and dumped me. I literally haven't heard from him since. At least Karissa has someone who is willing to work with her, at her own pace to get her through her problems - not everyone has that. I'm happy she has that special someone.) Of course, Karissa/her situation is entirely different from mine. But, I do understand the general mindset of being in a royally messed up emotional place and just needing to work on yourself first. Needing that stability with your own thoughts/life before being able to share it with anyone else. (I was FURIOUS that people hate spammed her for daring to have a happy life without Nate. She's entitled to a private life with no one else around. She deserves it and it's also mentally healthy.) And she is not only sharing her life with Nate, she is sharing her life with the literal WORLD. I don't blame her for crumbling at least ONCE under the pressure. I couldn't do it, that's a fact. It's hard to literally be pointed at with a camera all day, every day of her life and being in the spotlight, having people comment on everything you do. I couldn't do it. She and Nate definitely need a life without the cameras and internet input. They really do need a private life without US, you know. The fans and viewers. It's mentally healthy and will also improve certain aspects of their life/relationship. Everyone needs a private and personal life. Karissa deserves to find her happy place again. I really wish her the best and hope she plows through this.

I completely understand Karissa, everyone I guess has to go through that shit and that shit is heavy as hell. I've passed months I can call the black ones, in completley dark, locked in my room where I didn't even know what was really going on. That was the time I felt bad/guilty/sad/depressed for everything and that's where I lost the track of I really was or simply I never really knew myself. I went through some bad shit experience that has helped me a lot to grow as a person and to finally understand a lot of things. Thank to these experiences I'm learning day after day to appreciate me more. I'm completley focusing on myself and looking for more adventures in my life to know where I really want to be.
