Hi sir nice vídeo, in Brazil we have "barreiro de trincheira" is one sand box but for water hehe, it can be nice befor or after your nice swale, the barreiro de trincheira is one retangular pond for store water, no fish, no infiltration. is about 16x 5 x 5m its a lot water. (400m³).

In winter, store wat is given. In summer think about what you need from winter. Swales are such a good system for hilly terrains like the Greek islands.
