Not much for gory movies but those two always make me laugh because of how ridiculous they are. And maybbeeee more action movies? Just a suggestion! Keep it up!

The "Roy" alias is from Roy Rogers, aka the original hero to say "yippie ti yay" (as referenced in the leadup to that famous line). Rogers was also a singer who's biggest song was "Happy Trails" (as referenced after Gruber is shot). But I bet you already know that. Best review of the best movie.

Die Hard is a great action movie that takes place during the Christmas season that’s why the movie isn’t a Christmas movie. Most of the movie is not focused on Christmas, and the movie could have taken place on Valentines Day, New Years Eve, etc. Also a reason why Die Hard isn’t a Christmas movie.

Agreed 100%. It, like 'Lethal Weapon', should not be mentioned in the same breath as real Christmas movies like 'A Christmas Story', 'Miracle on 34th Street', 'National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation', and 'Home Alone' which actually focus on the holiday itself and not using it simply as a setting.

The big disqualifier for me was that It was released in the summer, far from the holiday season (I do watch it during Christmas though).

@@ahhamartin Also the movie doesn’t focus on Christmas , the plot is not driven by Christmas. Die Hard is an action movie that reminds the audience it’s taking place during Christmas, however it doesn’t focus on Christmas. Also I would strongly agree a other flaw is this action movie was released during the summer instead of during the Christmas season.

That is actually nice. I also loved watching movies Sudden Death --- Die Hard in a hockey area, Demolition High --- Die Hard in a school, Final Voyage --- Die Hard on a cruise ship, and 3 Ninjas: High Noon on Mega Mountain --- Die Hard in an amusement park.

Tyler Tilwick Edge of Tomorrow isn’t Die Hard meets Groundhogs Day. The movie has aliens, no indication that the aliens want money, and the aliens aren’t easily defeated so more like Independence Day meets Groundhogs Day.
